agreed a 2" hitch would be the ideal size for those who are looking for added security when attaching a bike rack into it.

I would suggest buying your rack from REI. They're very good about customer service and satisfaction guaranty. Therefore if you find the rack doesnt suit you . there is always the option of going back and get another.

Check Yakima, they have a 4 bike hitch that fits a class II hole. Its like $200 i think.
