Does the car have hookups for a car seat in the middle of the second row? I don't see those little LATCH symbols or feel any hooks like in the two side seats but I have seen people on this site have seats there. What method should be used for middle spot car seat installs?
This would be for a...
2010 Touring AWD, only the one light is lit up.
Reading this thread I see everyone with a GT saying they have them all lit up, and those of us with a Touring say only 1 is lit up.
Maybe that's the differentiating factor? GT vs Touring?
Anyone with a 2010 Grand Touring who can chime in?
But are they even automatic? My initial thought was it was the light sensor but I always have to turn the lights on and off with the dial on the lever.
I can almost confirm now that this happened due to the ignition not being turned all the way. As was mentioned in the thread I found that sometimes we think we turn it all the way off but there is another notch it can go.
After the non stop snow of this winter in NJ and a new storm of either snow and ice every few days putting on the Yoko's and ditching the OEMs before it even all began has made me nothing but happy with the purchase. It might have been a bit out of the ordinary but with the kind of weather we...
I ended up dumping the Duelers and getting the Spec-X after 500 miles. I have no idea how the Duelers would have preformed but after getting a snow storm a week since Christmas the Parada's have done an awesome job handling the snow and the ice that we have had. I was also able to sell the OEM...
It's not the key, the car itself before we even try to lock it starts to beep. I havent been able to narrow it down to anything that causes it. It's just that once you turn the car off it starts to beep but no lights on the panel are on showing any errors.
I turned the car off and put it in park and I started hearing beeping. I got out and tried to lock it with the keyfob and it wouldn't. I went back a little later turned it on, turned it off, and it didn't beep and now locks fine.
It has done this twice and I can't figure out what is causing it.
I should have just stayed home. By the time I was done deicing the second side of the car the first was iced up again.
I'll give that stuff a shot that you linked to. The scratches are annoying, I will post a pic next time I get the car dry and in the light. Can't believe I did this so soon...
Over an inch of ice this morning had me beating my car to make it road worthy that I ended up with a couple of nice scratches on the hood from an ice scraper that broke due to the difficulty it had in pushing off the ice sheet that had enveloped the car.
They are surface scratches, not very...
Thanks for the two responses.
ceric, do you have a link to the main thread? I tried searching but came up with many results, is there one in particular you are thinking about?
I know my car is an AWD car but how does it work? As in, is it a 90/10 split only changing when things slip, is it locked to AWD only at a specific speed?
Just curious.
Are these worth getting? That price seems awesome compared to what the dealer quoted (which I turned down).
How do you make a warranty claim when something is not bought from a dealer? All I have ever used is whatever the sales person cons me into.
I was going to but the Blizzaks that I wanted are sold out across the country. Instead of making due I'll go with the Yokos this year, drive extra carefully, and order the Birdgestones next September or October when they come back in stock.
I have read all of the bad reviews about this car in the snow and do plan on changing out the tires to at least some Spec-Xs if I can get them shipped to me but today it's a blizzard and since I do not have them yet how will the 9 handle in the snow? The big storm has hit NJ as I write this...
