My problem is Google Maps turn-by-turn audio. When Bluetooth is turned on, cell phone calls work fine and audio comes thru car speakers. However, if I use Google Maps nav on my cell phone, I don't hear any directions from car speakers or phone. This is a 2017 CX-5.
Key here is that car not started and ALL of the fluid in the overflow tank was removed. Then add correct 50-50 coolant mix to the correct level and you can start the car.
I too have been looking for a rear bumper guard for my 2017 CX-5. I wanted one that would protect the bumper edge and purchased a stainless steel aftermarket guard that was suppose to fit 2013-2017 on ebay. It did not fit. Apparently, although both 2017 and prior CX-5 have curved bumpers, the...
I read the review and it is positive. It is interesting that the CX-5 TOURING AWD scored 80 points which is the same score as the Audi Q3 which costs $10k more! I emphasize TOURING because CR failed to explain the trim levels. I was surprised that they did not talk about Sport, Touring and GT...
I noticed that Sport mode made my 2017 CX-5 feel peppier so I googled to find out how much 0-60 was improved by Sport mode. I did not get an answer but I did come across this interesting summary:

Anyone have any quantitative or first-hand...
The cover is too long to sit on the cargo floor against the rear seats. Again, I wish there was a convenient place in the car to store it. On my wife's Prius V, you can store the cargo cover neatly under the cargo area floor.
The back of the rear seats do not contact the cargo cover unless the rear seats are reclined. Even with the contact, I don't think you will damage the seats.
I ordered my 17 CX-5 with the cargo cover. At pickup, I watched the salesman install the cover and it took less than 20 seconds. It is extremely easy to install and works great. I only wish there was an easy place to store it in the car when not in use.
I too would prefer a bumper guard which protects the leading edge. I see them on Toyotas, Nissans and Subarus and wonder it any of their OEM guards would fit the 2017 CX-5.
I'm thinking about adding rear bumper guard to my 2017 CX-5. The Mazda part number is 0000-8T-R10. However, I prefer the look of the 2016 bumper guard (0000-8T-R13). Can anyone verify that the 0000-8T-R13 can be used on the 2017 CX-5?
