The camera in my phone couldn't pick up the blue of the triangle but it's there. I haven't reset the trip miles so the numbers you see on the speedo are cumulative from day one for my 2.5T. Kudos to Mazda for helping me work on my math skills while driving by making the gauge read in increments...
I had one on a car back in the mid-90's. Took it off every weekend to clean and wax the hood and remove any grit that might be stuck to the underside of the bra itself. It still ruined the paint. Those things are just a terrible idea, especially on a new car.
Ive had mine since May and just assumed they didnt click, but wlongs post made me go double check. It does, but requires a little more effort and the sound is quieter than other vehicles. In a quiet garage I could hear it but dont think most drivers would be able to in a noisy filling station.
My '04 Accord has only had the first 18" of the hood done with ppf since new. There have been hits from rocks large enough to cause small dents but the paint underneath the ppf looks good. There are no chips beyond the film. Not wanting a line showing across the CX-5 hood, I had the whole thing...
Following that line of thinking, isn't a Signature just an overpriced Mazda?
Some will say yes, some will say no. It's up to the buyer to decide what a vehicle is worth.
I really liked the Lexus interior when I was shopping around. Only problem was I couldnt get past the look of that blunt nosed cow catcher they hang on all their models. Seems appropriate to classify the front end look as a train wreck.
I dont do any vehicle care in the sun. I either wait for an overcast day or get up early and start washing as soon as its light out enough to see. When the car is dry I pull it into the garage to finish detailing. The paint is still cool to the touch and the TW Seal N Shine goes on easier than...
There's an easy way to find out if your dealer is pulling this trick or not, mark your air and cabin filters with a Sharpie before you go. I prefer something discreet like three dots in a triangle that only I know the meaning of. I just did mine to see how long it would take. Having never...
Actually, I think the Mitsu interior looks pretty good compared to the CR-V. Look at these seats, I've seen park benches with more contour. And then there's that center console which appears to have been lifted directly from a school bus.
Speaking of bad center consoles, check out the Acura...
Gave it the first going over since new:
Wash with Dawn and rinse
Wipe down with CarPro's IronX
Griots synthetic clay with Speed Shine
Applied TW Ice Seal N Shine
I felt like I was missing a step using the Turtle Wax. I usually apply more conventional waxes with my Makita high speed buffer and...
A couple of days ago I was coming up to a stop light that's the end of our local business district. A hundred feet past the intersection the road narrows from two lanes to one so it's a common spot for impromptu tests of acceleration. There were three cars waiting in one lane and none in the...
I hadn't seen that in the manual and finally found it on page 3-54. It reads: "After driving at freeway speeds or up a long hill, trailer towing for a long time, idle the engine for at least 30 seconds before stopping it. Otherwise, the turbocharger could be damaged."
Fortunately, most of us...
Mine doesn't have enough miles for an oil change yet but plan to use either Zepro or Liqui-Moly Molygen. It appears the Molygen is close to what the OP is looking for.

Got it on the first try. Not sure if I'll leave it that way though, I actually prefer the way it looks with the Parking Lights switch on, i.e., center round headlight off but halo and flat side lights remain on. It's technically illegal to drive in my state with just the parking lights on but...
My two cents, I'm thinking those would look better if everything on the insides was blacked out with some high heat paint. Wouldn't be so obvious that they're just slipped on over the factory tips.
