Brought my CX5 in May, running around 45PSI the whole time until last week when I checked. To be honest, the ride isn't bad at all. I may just keep it somewhere around 40PSI since I'm going away on vacation soon and the car will be sitting in a garage for 3 weeks.
What I am able to do is predict how much traffic will slow on the highway by looking at the cars in front of the car immediately in front of me and their brake lights. Ill let off the gas and let it coast. In city driving, if its a red or yellow, Ill slowly creep up while aiming for that 40MPG...
Coasting on my 2019 definitely isnt what Im used to coming from a small sedan with a CVT transmission.
It really does feel like the transmissions downshifts immediately, slowing down too much in a short period of time. I usually coast to get to the speed I want and give some gas while trying to...
Leased a red touring with the preferred package for $335/M. Paid taxes, fees, etc upfront $2000.
Its ok. Other dealers and leasing companies were giving me $345 or even $355 per month even after the rebates.
Also if you have a Chase checking account, you may be able to snag a $500 or $750 off...
I havent checked the oil neither. Come to think about it, I should check the tire pressure since there is a slight pull to the left when driving on the highway.
Hi
Today I noticed the right passenger rear side rotor was scratched up. If I rub my finger nail, it seems to catch on the scratch. Seems like a very deep groove. Any ideas why it mightve happened? How?
Will it affect braking performance?

Thanks
I keep my keys on a carabiner, its always in my right back pocket. Whenever I sit and the keyfob happens to be in my pocket instead of dangling outside, I almost always accidentally press the liftgate button.
Hi
These brown spots started to appear on the tires. Not sure how, but I know I haven't rubbed the wheels on the curb or anything. Anyone have any idea what it may of come from? Perhaps the tire pressure is low? Haven't checked yet since I brought the car 2 months ago. Attached some photos...
Hi all,
Last night I managed to backup into another car that was parked way to close to my behind. The camera didn't load in time and I let go of the brakes before hearing a loud BOOM!
Anyhow, thankfully there is no damage to the paint except for some deep scratches and deep grooves on the...
I dont think its the fuel pump since its coming from near the engine bay. I know the fuel pump is more of a discrete sound inside but this only happens when the car is turned off.
Ever since Ive brought the car, theres always been a low whining noise right after turning off the car. It sounds as if the ballast for lights from the engine bay, are whining but I cant pinpoint where its coming from exactly.
It goes on for about 20-30 seconds and goes away. It also occurs...
Haven't had a chance to push it yet (still 6xx miles on it) but I love the way car handles curves and how stable it is at 60-70MPH for a car this size.
Acceleration is a bit lacking however for the NA model but quick enough for quick merges and getting up to speed on the highway.
What I do notice is that sometimes after stopping at a light, when I let go off the brakes to creep up a bit, the body of the car feels like it drops an inch or two from behind. As if the back is higher than the front. When I let go, the back feels like it comes down a inch or two.
Another...
Thanks for the quick reply. Do you know if we can have it towed to any Mazda dealer of our choice? I'd prefer to go to the one where I brought the car from.
Do you think if I unplug the negative cable on the battery and reset the car, would that fix anything?
Thanks
2019 Touring Wont Start
Hi,
Last week just leased a beautiful Touring with the preferred package. All fine until last night when the car would not start. The dashboard throws up bunch of errors, 4WD malfunction, front camera, Radar malfunction, smart city brake malfunction among other items...
