Yeah, I've got the rear installed and want more flat. Went ahead and lowered the back of the subframe but I can't for the life of me snake the stock bar out. If I can't figure it out today I'm gonna have to just give up on it.
I'm putting a hardrace front sway bar on my '19 CX-5 GTR. Lowering the rear of the front subframe looks like a must. I can see that the steering rack is going to come along with the subframe. Is it okay for me to lower the rack a couple/few inches? I assume I shouldn't touch the wheels or...
Ok, installed:
20x8.5et45 FLOW ONE Race Spec F5 wheels + Michelin 255/45R20 pilot sport 4S, Eibach springs
Why these wheels?
I like Japanese motorsport style, 5/6/7-spoke, 2/3-piece designs. But I wanted to go bigger than 19in, and get something lightweight. To do all that was going to...
I thought this site was really handy, too: Rim & Tire Size Calculator. Custom Offsets
By my measurements, stock parameters (edit: on the 19" GTR wheels) match those in the link.
It might make installation a little easier, but you don't have to. I didn't. And this goes on right over the existing cover, so def helps make it thicker. Do it.
Yeah, they say it's nappa leather. It feels great. Way better IMO than the stock leather wheel, which I thought felt thin and papery. I'm no longer envious of the wheel on the wife's Acura.
The perforated leather feels a little less supple than the solid part. You can choose to do all...
I believe so, yes. And I think you'll be less concerned about dropping the subframe too far. You probably don't need to worry about doing the one-side-at-a-time thing, you can just lower the whole rear subframe at once. So a little easier.
Ok, yeah, AWD didn't make a big difference. It went basically how Chris described for a gen1.

Ok, had a free weekend to try this. Got it to work lowering the subframe a few inches on one side at a time:

Thanks for checking into this! I think the main issue may have been that I didn't downsize the images before adding them to the post  . I probably had 80MB of images in there, which takes a while to download from my host.
I resized and compressed them all, then removed them from the...
Trying to troubleshoot issues I'm having with images in my post: https://mazdas247.com/forum/index.php?threads/rear-sway-camber-arm-install.123875651/
Many of the images are appearing in the edit view, but not in the post view. Some of them are appearing in the post view, but they're upside...
This is how far down the studs I lowered mine.
I bailing wired the hub to keep it from flopping forward once the UCA is removed.
Remove the inboard UCA bolt. This can be tough to break, After removing a plastic guard piece (10mm) attached to the lower rod (lateral link?) I was able to...
Installed a 22mm hardrace rear sway bar (7028) and megan racing rear camber arms (MRS-MZ-1689) this weekend. Had trouble finding a good guide for it, so I'm writing up my experience.
I was thinking my AWD would complicate things, because:
Only hardrace sells (that I found [thanks, Chris]) a...
Update:
I received my leather steering wheel cover from China. It does have a little stretch to it, so I thought it just might wrap over some custom inserts. To get a basic shape I used some of my kids modeling clay:
Once the clay firmed up...I realized it looks pretty ghetto, and it's...
