It was a year ago today that I brought her home. It's been a great year and here's to the next year. However, depending on my career placement by the end of the year, I COULD be in a new FR-S... maybe. I'll keep the P5 for my winter toy though. :)
Does she know that we drive a car that is 10 years old now... in the Midwest? The only thing you can do to prevent rust is get it all patched and move to AZ. Lol
I guess I'm the lucky one around here. I have some standard rear wheel well rust, a little around the badges on the hatch, and a...
Here's what I'm thinking as an early graduation present to myself this fall. Thoughts...

Only question... would a 7.5" wheel...
It just rained, bat-s*** CRAZY downpour!!!! However, I used it as an opportunity to give my Kumho Ecsta 4X's a good water test. I basically hugged the median of the highway the whole way home from school tonight in an attempt to catch some heavy puddles. The result... these tires are...
The cops around here can just bugger off. I'm surrounded by rednecks that love their lightbars... on at stupid times. I'm leaning towards the quad bi-xenon without fogs though. I'm just excited.
Actually, If I do the quad setup, I might do a fog delete. However, I do have a spare set of Depo projectors I pulled from my madre's old Neon. They're LB only, but they would work great in the fog spot... and they were free.
I see. Well then it looks like new ones for me. I just need to figure out what's going on this summer so I can get going on these projects and get it done.
So, I think I made a rookie mistake in wiring my HID's. However, I won't find out until I pull the whole assembly out since I mounted the ballast and the igniter to the underside of the assembly... oops. (rolleyes)
The Mini H1's are new, right? I would definitely buy them off you.
I actually had an epiphany last night. Quad projectors, on at all times, BUT... only one pair are bi-xenon. Possibly less complicated? I hate being poor.
So, mx-p5... I remember you mentioning a quad bi-xenon retro a few months back. Any progress? Or did I miss an update somewhere in here? I'm thinking about cranking one out this summer if all goes well for other(s).
I just wish I wasn't stuck with the horrible 4-auto. 1st is too short; second is obnoxiously tall, and 3rd & 4th are... just... well, they're there.
In other news, I FINALLY got the error code eliminators from DDM in the mail today. Unfortunately I was at work so I had the flicker the whole...
You would be shocked at the obnoxious noise the little 1.5L Z5 engine made with the same problem. I drove her a good 12K miles on the manifold and first cat. No tickets for me though.
Dealer prices are stupid high on the cars because they're buying the car (most likely) for what YOU would pay from a private seller, then add in their markups to protect their margins to keep their doors open and, of course, purchase more cars to sell at ridiculous prices. And yes, I included...
Grab a handful of rags or an old shirt and stuff it up under the filter to catch the remaining oil, grab a new glove, twist, and run. The shirt keeps the oil off the block, the glove keeps your hand from slipping on the filter, the twist... twists, and running keeps the oil off of your arm...
