Eh I'm not too worried about it, doubt anyone is going to go through the trouble of making a copy of my key and try to find out where I live or work. Thanks for the heads up tho, I got other things to worry about haha
Looks nice, I'm using the stitched leather one
I don't use my keys too often to lock/unlock the car but I've dropped it enough to finally get a case for it lol
I got the same tires, they got even quieter after 1000+ miles on them. I also noticed drop in mpg when first getting them on but that's expected with new tires since they're more sticky. It's pretty much back to normal now from when I had the stock tires. The 2017 is already very quiet but these...
Just curious, are these mats soft and cushy? It looks to be so. I ordered a set from amazon and I think it's being shipped from Canada. My oem all weather floor mats don't provide enough coverage and the carpet around the dead pedal is wearing out :/
Congrats! Finally haha I wish we have the 360 view camera option here in the US. I also like how your cargo light is actually in the cargo area and not on the liftgate. Enjoy the car man!
I charge my phone all the time using using the front USB port, works fine. I get about 10% charge on my 20 minute drive to work. Is that normal or considered slow? I also have the iphone 7.
I had a 2014 mazda3 sGT hatchback and traded in for the cx5. I wasn't planning on trading in so soon and had finally made it look the way I wanted but family issues required for a taller bigger vehicle so I chose the cx5 and no regrets. Ride is smoother and much more quieter than the mz3. I do...
I haven't replaced the windshield but I'm guessing it's going to cost me a lot lol My windshield tint alone was $400 and visor tint was $20 so yea it'll cost me a pretty penny if I have to replace it.
Yea I do that too but times there's always sun peeking in from the corners, I don't have to use visor now unless the sun is a bit lower haha I also did this on my mazda 3 and the tint shop did it straight without me asking, wasn't sure why it was such a hassle this time.
Not done technically today but this past weekend, finally got a pic of it today. Got the windshield visor area tinted, finally no more light piercing through the top corners. Had it done a couple of times and each came out curved due to the windshield, finally had a place made it straight for...
The tint I have on my car now is crystal clear. The only one I had issue with was lunar air blue which gave this orange peel effect at certain angles. As for huper I got it at song's tint in ktown. I didn't like that film as much because the heat rejection was not as great as people claimed it...
We don't really have a wind screen so it's going to be pretty loud when driving at freeway speeds and that's pretty common for sunroofs on most cars. I had a 2002 maxima before and that car had the quietest sunroof out of all the cars I've had. It was pretty quiet on the freeway with it opened...
The photosync 70 tint I'm currently using is $400 for the windshield. I've used other brands like lunar air blue 80, 3m crystalline 70 and even huper optik 60 and those were around $200 for the windshield. The one I have now is quite expensive but does the best job blocking out the heat out of...
On my 2014 mazda 3 I had the suspension noise when going over some bumps or making sharp slow turns. There was a TSB and they added a sleeve or something to the springs I believe and that got rid of the noise but it did come back after a few months. I got a similar noise on my cx-5 once in a...
I've also noticed the display issue with polarized sunglasses. I have prescription polarized Oakley sunglasses and could barely see the display. I've since tinted the windshield 70% and the display is much more easily viewable through polarized sunglasses while leaving them on auto brightness...
The projection area is pretty small. I lose sight of it when I move my head to the far left or right but never a problem because, like said above, I don't move my head around a lot during normal driving. I've found my sweet spot in both my seat and HUD and saved it in the memory seat setting. I...
Well here's a couple of pics of my mirrors wrapped in gloss black metallic, I also added a chrome piece that I smoked to give it a black chrome look. I have since removed the black vinyl and went back to stock but kept the black chrome trim, it's very subtle :)
I am going to black out the...
Not much. These were the same bulbs I used on my 2014 mazda3 which I saved when I traded it in. It worked really well on that car up front. On the cx5 the halogen worked better up front probably due to the design :/
I've changed mine to LEDs but ended back using the stock ones. For the rear it was really bright since I used the projector type LED bulbs and the front didn't make much of a difference and I actually feel halogens were brighter up front.
