yep, exactly, a couple of police officers were murdered last year because they couldn't see into a stopped tinted vehicle at night,
they don;t mess around now, anyone with tint in NYC now sticks out like a sore thumb and will get pulled over
especially with the new law that state...
sorry, but I don't think your car is legal if you have tint over OEM front windows..., NYC requires 70% light transmission which is basically OEM tint, anything over that will reduce it below 70% and would be considered illegal, I see NYPD stopping people left and right now for tint, next...
does it sound like this ? the dealer sprays some brake cleaner on it and plays dumb, after they spray brake cleaner, the sound goes away and they tell you they fixed but then of course a day later it comes back, only way I figured out to fix it was do it myself and disassemble the brake pads...
dang, with neighbors liked that , who needs enemies, it looks like it went thru the clearcoat down to base metal.
why is your neighbor so pissed off to do something like that, unfortunately, I don't think it's an easy fix....
the red color is very difficult to match, you may need to have a...
CHris, if you don't mind, can you please elaborate ? I respect your opinions and you're a great contributor to this forum,
just curious to know why you think 0W-20 is bad for the CX-5, thanks.
ok GJ-Molestor, I'll bite, I do agree this engine is spec'd for 5w30 every else so 0w20 may be linked to the CAFE bull$hit,
also I've been using the expensive Mazda moly oil from Med Mazda exclusively every 5000 miles
and I do see 1 quart oil missing every time I do oil changes,
I have 5...

agreed, some may argue it's a waste on money, but I'm going to stick with OEM moly oil that came with the CX-5......
the moly content is off the charts compared to other oils..... I'm up to 40,000 miles with no issues at all, always used Mazda filter and moly oil...
here you go, according to CX-SO's post, p/n for drain plug washer is 9956-41-800,
I think it's the same for both front and rear and you only need on the drain plugs not the fill plugs...
seems ok, looks like the new trend now, I see Porsche models have this chrome across and going into the rear lights....
CX-9 without the break looks better though IMHO, whats the deal the trunk hinge bumps now (green arrows) on both CX9 and Cx5's, is it a design element or they beefed up the...
this sounds crazy........ but worked for me : open the sunroof cover, not the glass window just the felt cover inside
increased my weak a$$ Virgin Mobile signal strength by 2 bars and Pandora stopped skipping and connectivity issues went away.
they still didn't bring back the vertical cargo net for 2017 ? a fellow CX-5 owner, tomcat1446, did this awhile ago.......

doesn't look like an easy retrofit at all, the dash panel above the vents has to be replaced and even then,
a left hand drive dash panel with CD slot cutout may not even exist,
maybe they only tooled and molded up for right hand side Japanese models dash with CD cutouts....
anyone know if...
Great color, did you ask for those pinstripes? Or were they on already from dealer, take a good look at the where the pinstripes ends are, I remember a fellow member posting close ups of the pinstripes at the dealer show room and the installers cut, yes "cut" the clear coat deep, not...
anyone else have this issue ? usually after washing car when the cold water hits the lens, eventually it disappears in the sun for an hour, but still can see some outline of where the moisture used to be.....
wow, good point Tomcat, it's been so long that I forgot how bad the first CD players were with the skipping at the slightest bump.Mazdadude is right ! we're going back to 80's technology here LOL , any solution will have to be able to handle severe road vibrations.
scary, I would get it checked out by the dealer.......I found some instances online also as you described......
