Beautiful blue. Here is my 1st CX5 which was a 2012. I really liked this blue which I believe was only used for the first year. Correct me if I'm wrong in that.
2015 Touring over 78,829 miles = 28.3 average mpg from pump, 28.6 average from dash. Lowest tank = 21.4 mpg. Quite a few highway miles in those higher figures. Average at 70 MPH with a/c on = 30 - 31 mpg. Have tried tanks with premium, and alcohol free with no appreciable difference in mileage.
How does alcohol evaporate from a closed system. Through pores in the plastic container?
I had the same problem when we took a trip from Charlotte NC to upper Michigan in the winter. Wiper fluid froze up and I was tailgating trucks to get their road spray to keep the windshield clean. I...
Nu Finish car polish has more of a thick liquid consistency. There is a Nu Finish ceramic spray wax, but I am talking about the car polish which you rub on, let it dry, and then polish it off. It's more work, but longer lasting I believe.
"Independent laboratory tests have proven that Nu...
Having used both, Nu Finish would last longer than a spray wax. Spray wax is very good for a quick easy polish. Do a Nu Finish polish, than use the spray between Nu finish applications. I use the Turtle Wax Ice on our black glass range top. Keeps it sparkling.
Guards for what? The flimsy thing that they call a bumper nowadays? A modern so called bumper is basically useless. Now if you do want a bumper guard put on one of those big things that are mounted on police cars. Won't look too good though.
I pop it into neutral, and apply the emergency brake. When the light turns green, just pop it back into drive, and emergency brake off, and away we go. I usually take off quicker than the people who are in the next lane. Don't even have to apply the brake very hard at all.
Glad that I have a 2015 with a replaceable headlight bulb. Also enjoy the real handbrake, not a glorified park switch. Going on 7 years now with no bulb replacement needed yet.
I just replace them when they get low. Like when you have to be really close to the car for the fob to work. They're relatively cheap. Have never paid attention to how long they lasted, and this covers a 9 year period of having a 2013, then my current 2015 Touring. In that time I believe I...
I just have it, the filter changed, and the tires rotated around 5,000 miles. I may go over it a 1,000 or so, but I figure it is a relatively cheap, but important part of maintenance.
