If the headlamps on your 2014 were not HID to begin with, then maybe the mounting is different as ours swivel from side to side when turning and there is a mechanism for that? On the other hand, after 11 years and 145k miles of driving, my HIDs still work just fine.

I just bought 4 of the NGK plugs (94124 - ILKAR7L11) for $38.88 on Amazon (they arrive today). It's the same supplier I bought my last set from in 2018. I installed those at 66K miles and I now have 135K miles on my CX-5, so time for another change. The NGK plugs have performed flawlessly.
