WHOA!!! Not good mileage for the car. Barely enough time to get everything up to temperature in 6 miles.
I used to own a Colt Vista (Mitsubishi Expo by another name) which was a pretty good car, all in all. But when I got it, I only lived 1.9 miles from work. Unfortunately, it was all uphill...
And here I thought I was one of the mileage kings. How do you manage that? Other vehicles to drive? Car pooling? Public transport?
My '04, which I've owned since new, just crossed the 80k mark (<10k/yr.)
Well, I was hoping that you, and the others here, might get a laugh when they realized the irony of what you'd said in your post and my reply.
Oh well. Humor is wasted on the young, I guess?
LOL
No Man. I was completely joking based on the text in your post. A play on words as it were. Irony?
Actually to be honest about it, I saw your post from work where I can't even open pictures. I was going solely on what you'd said. Making a joke. That's all.
Besides, your interior looks pretty...
Yep!
1/2" of snow around here shuts down the entire city for at least the first few hours.
About two years ago, we got about 3/4" of snow, still falling when I went to work. They, the natives at least, couldn't believe I made it into work that day, and only 10-15 mins late too. By noon the snow...
Well if you're just tired of winter, then you are not yet ready.
When I got fed up with winter weather, snow, ice and cold temps, that's when I moved away from it.
What about the differences in weight?
Granted, I didn't see/read all you may have written on the subject and might therefore be somewhat uninformed, but unless you're contemplating an all out LS1 or some such, there will be an incredible difference in weight between an all aluminum 2.3 and an...
The is so little current there that 10 ga wire is truly overkill. 18 ga would work just as well. It's actually been said that what it's supposed to do is eliminate the possibility of static electric charge in the system causing a lag in the throttle response.
I did this mod years ago and as far...
I've never even heard of these before. I assume you are talking about engine/tranny mounts? Where did you see them?
You might want to look @ James Barone Racing as well. I have their cast tranny mount and can recommend using it.
I would guess so too!!
As for the car not taking fuel: Is it possible it was in an accident and that the RR quarter panel was involved? There is an overflow/vent tube that allows air in the tank to escape (and be recycled into the tank) as fuel is being pumped in. If that is restricted, crushed...
Hmmm... a request like this one is usually frowned upon on public forums, my friend.
I realize you are new, so no action will be taken, but I must close this thread.
Sorry.
No, not really. That could easily change by simply going to a wider wheel with the same offset.
Its all about the center of the tire tread. Cars are designed with a particular suspension and steering geometry in mind. Mess with it and there will besome consequences, unless you redesign the...
