I'm not sure what all you did on your install and having to back the car up to have things fall into place just doesn't sound good. I had the dealership install my Eibach Pro-Kit on my Signature and everything went back into spec when they did the alignment.
You always want to do an alignment after you change suspension plus you can see if any camber or toe needs to be adjusted for the change in suspension geometry. Some people don't do alignments but technically you should.
You do not need any camber kits for the eibach springs on the 2017+ cx5. I'm running the eibach springs and everything went back into spec. I had an alignment done the day of the install at the mazda dealership.
Thanks, there have been no issues with any of the safety features and everything went back into spec with an alignment. No issues to worry about with the eibach kit. I had the mazda dealership do the install that I bought the cx-5 from and they said there's no issues with the eibach kit...
I'm driving a 2019 signature but within a week of owning it I switched to Rays wheels and Firestone tires and it drives super smooth like butter. No vibration at all.
Not sure if because my car is still fairly new with 800 miles but I switched to 92 to try it out and my mpg went down even though my driving habits stayed the same compared to using 87. I'll stick with 87 for now as I didn't notice anything different from 92 except worse gas mileage.
