my LSD snapped when i was making a left hand turn at like 15 mph. it can go anytime! at the time, i only had front motor mount. i replaced it with a welded one from ProtegeGarage.
my vac in my area is -20 at idle. when i go up into the mountains (8000 ft above sea level), my vac is -16 to -18. when i go to the beach, it is -22 at idle. so i think elevation has something to do with it. but generally, it should be around -20.
one thing i could think of is that i'm using an oil sandwich plate. there is some foam/rubber on one side to seal it against the oil filter outlet. could it be that the sending units aren't grounding properly due to that seal? like it's not a metal to metal contact which would make it ground...
they're Stewart Warner... but yeah, essentially the same thing. They don't twitch, they don't move.
I replaced the 10amp fuse and still no luck. everything should be wired correctly. i've wired my other gauges similarly and they are working fine.... hmmm.....

Yeah, that sounds like your LSD alright. Get it replaced with a Quaife and you'll be set... but it'll be expensive.
I have been running the updated/welded LSD for a year with no issues. I got it from ProtegeGarage in less than a week.
