Thanks but those instructions are not working for me. The only question I have is perhaps I need to lift the window switches vs press them down, or maybe I’m not switching the ignition “on” to the right setting.
I have done the following:
1.) turn ignition to “on” position. Doing so requires two presses of the ignition switch with your foot off the brake pedal so the car doesn’t start
2.) make sure window lock is engaged / pressed in
3.) press front passenger side window switch; rear passenger window...
Just had my dealer update the Mazda Connect software to 70.00.352 this morning during an oil change. All seems fine. My only major complaint with the system is slow boot time (especially when using Bluetooth) and the system randomly would crash and reboot. Probably happened at least 5-10...
About to buy another car and am debating between an awd 3 or a 6. Sure dinner wish the 6 came In awd. How are they in the snow/slippery conditions with the stock tires?
Our 2019 Signature doesnt do this. I will say though that our Jeep Grand Cherokee shifts hard for the first few miles when its cold outside. Then its pretty good after that.
Just watch it for a while and ask your dealer to look into it at your next service. Drop it off the night before and ask...
If anyone test drove a new CX5 less than 10 miles and especially in cold weather, Im willing to bet any vibration was caused by slightly under inflated tires and flat spotting. Goes away once tires are properly inflated and warmed up.
I like sports mode but rarely use it. The throttle tip-in is more responsive and the transmission stays on the bubble better than in normal mode. It makes driving the cx-5 in twisties or around town a little more fun. But again, I rarely use it. The transmission in this vehicle is extremely well...
Yeah, our fobs are programmed to the seat memory so thats helpful. Power steering wheel adjustment and steering wheel memory would be nice but I agree thats not a big deal. The lack of side mirror memory is perplexing though. Every car Ive had thats had seat memory also saved mirror memory.
Only read the first OPs post. Our signature has a hint of vibration in the same range on the highway. Its funny that you ended up solving your vibration problem with new Michelin tires. Ive done exactly the same with two other cars, lol! I pretty much only buy Michelin branded tires now as Ive...
Updated review on my 19 Signature
Weve got almost 4000 miles on our XX-5 Signature. Heres my thoughts on a few select items:
-gas mileage is still meeting expectations. In almost exclusively local driving, we average 20-21 mpg. Highway nets 27-right on the EPA estimate. I have no doubt that...
780 mile round trip in the Midwest this past weekend. Almost all highway, minimal traffic and cruise set between 68-78 depending on the road. 26.4 mpg. Our Jeep Grand Cherokee with the hemi gets about 21 mpg on the same route under the same conditions. Not a doubt in my mind that an 8 speed...
Update: its been cold and miserable here in the Midwest over the past two weeks. We are averaging a little over 20 mpg in almost exclusively short trips, local driving. As a comparison, my Jeep Grand Cherokee with the hemi V8 is getting about 18 mpg but thats in mixed highway/city (probably...
Death, taxes and extreme passion expressed on the internet about the whats/whys/hows concerning the octane fuel people like to use in their vehicles....these are things that are certain, LOL!
Been running 87 but wife just accidentally put 89 in. Will probably check out a few tanks of 93 especially given the low prices lately. But honestly, we havent been pushing the car hard at all. It drives so nicely with moderate gas pedal angle that well likely stick mostly with 87.
Sounds like a great deal to me! Better than I did. How did you get a rebate? Are you a previous Mazda owner? There were no rebates available other than the Mazda Loyalty rebate, which we didnt qualify for since weve never owned a Mazda before.
Nice job and congrats on your new vehicle!
