With 44k miles on the clock, I can still easily average 35+ MPG highway at constant 55 MPH limit for a 60 mile round trip. That is without traffic. For s**** and giggles, my highest MPG for the same route is some where around 39 MPG, but that required heavy concentration which is more stress...
I notice the difference between my Galaxy S5 and S6 versus iPhone (5S and 6S) work phones. My iPhones definitely have a more prominent low end in comparison to the S6 and S5. This isn't only noticeable on my CX-5, but also via the headphone jack and any other Bluetooth playback. The difference...
Yeah, that looks horrible and is unsafe. Just as horrid as douche bags wearing sunglasses at night.
I remember back in the late 90's, random stickers was the ricer fad. Nowadays, it's tinted lights beyond visibility.
You're better off with the Morimoto XB LED projectors. The light output simply outperforms any foglights i've seen- even OEM LED's.
*Not trying to market Morimoto, just a consumer speaking the truth*
I would beg to differ as I had a 2015 Mazda 6 GT loaner for a week. The ride is definitely quieter and and smoother. I would say it's because of the lower surface area (wind noise), separated trunk instead of a hatch, and the long wheel base versus the CX-5's shorter wheelbase.
If it's anything like the Series 1 CX-5's, which it should be. You need to pry off the plastic covers in the hatch area behind the taillights, disconnect the taillights, and undo the 10mm nuts. Pull the taillight unit towards you as you stand directly behind the car. It may take a bit of force.
Forgot about VLED's. Another great place for LED drop-ins. I have some of their 194's I purchased years ago and they still work like new. Back then they were the only manufacturer that supplied reliable LED's that is equal or brighter than their incandescent counter parts.
Negative, though the single CREE diode looks promising enough to provide equal if not better light compared to incandescent.
Personally, I'm done with Amazon and eBay crap (especially the iJDMtoy "brand"). They have all been either too dim, color is too blue (6000+k), and/or...
The CUV market is predicted to rise 5% in 2016 and exponentially more after. It's just a strategic move by Mazda and practically every other manufacturer.
I have gotten pulled over with 20% tint for the front windows (matched rear) in NYC. I wasn't violating any traffic laws either. If they want to hunt you, they'll hunt you (luckily I got out of that ticket).
Nowadays, I have 10% front tints and rear overlaid with 20%. A bit of a hassle to open...
Just wipe down with a soft microfiber towel dampened in clean water every week. The leather will WITHOUT a doubt stained (especially with dark jeans), but can be easily removed if wiped down frequently.
The H11 Halogen projectors in the non-tech packages are more than sufficient. No where close to OEM bi-xenon's, but far better than the typical halogen reflectors and even most projectors with turd HID plug and play kits.
