well I don't believe it's the mbc either. I'm going to run it hard tonight and see if it might be a boost leak. My daily route from work to home is infested with cops, so it makes it a little difficult to drive it as fast as I want to.
I don't know how this got off on MBC's but my joepmbc seems to do just fine. Laserblue you may be right. It just so happens that I ran her out of gas today and had to fill her up with some good ole 93. I'll just have to wait and see if the gas is really the problem.
I finnally put a joes manual boost controller on my MSP 2 weeks ago. Everything worked fine until yesterday, when myself and a friend were coming back from work and then it started. Whenever I boost it becomes extremely sluggish. And it's not the normal hesitation either. But if I drive...
What kind of flutter are you talking about. If you're talking about a flutter in the exaust note than yeh it's absolutely normal. If it's a metalic noise than you could be vibrating against anything. Check your bolts to the s pipe like he said and try to re position the MIDPIPE to avoid the...
I have the same gauge and I don't think that it is even made to dim. I know I hooked mine up off the dimmer switch and it will not dim with the dash lights. It stays the same.
I went out and looked at the MSP and surprise surprise there wasn't a belt diagram underneath the hood. But anyway it should be do able. We don't have a serpentine belt and it looks like the uc pulley, the power steering pulley, and the a/c pulley are on one belt. While the uc, alternator...
Thanks for the diagram. there should be one somewhere under the hood. I'll go check it out. O Marashka I can always put the a/c back on if I ever want to sell it or trade it in. But that would be hard anyway with all the aftermarket products on it.
NC may not be FL but it stil stay's in the high 80's to mid 90's around here throughout the summer. I just personally don't like it. I'd rather have the wind blowing through the windows. I wonder if I could find shorter belt, if I do decide to take it out?
Has anyone taken out their A/C, and A/C piping? I've been thinkin about it. I hate air conditioning. Plus it's a little less weight and one less pulley to turn.
I've had Apex motorsports exhaust on my car for a little over a month now and it was my first time ever replacing a exhaust system on an four banger. I was wondering why it pops and rumbles, especially when downshifting from third to secondand from second to first. Is the exhaust creating to...
I've got some extra pennies to spend and I can't decide how to spend em. But I have been looking at gt spec stuff here lately. If I were to change out my stock parts for oh say a gtspec strut bar, front tie bar, linkeage bars, and maybe even a 4 point ladder bar and some rear strut bars what...
I like the rotas but what other choices in wheels do we have with such a lite weight. And I guess they are pretty strong considering. Whats the weight diff. between the Rotas and the stock Racingharts?
Anyone with the Tein S-tech springs. How do you like them? And are you still usings the racingharts and bridgestone reo40's with them? I just keep looking at my car and I find it hard to believe that I can lower it almost 2 inches and the wheels and tires will still work.
Great Info. I had mine replaced with the new 156e a little over a month ago and they sound horrible. I love my car but that s*** is annoying and embarrasing. I pray it's not as loud outside the car as it is inside.
I was really kind of wondering what kind of front strut tower bar is the better. One that has pivoting joints at the strut tower, or one that is one solid peice from end to end. Thanks on the web sites , but i've been looking at all of them already. I just want opinions on which kind is the...
I would like to hear some opinions on what kind, or manufacturer of front strut tower bars is the best. I would really like to find one without any pivoting joints ( 1 solid peice). But that's why I'm asking for opinions.
