Well mainly i need a radiator mine is leaking really bad. And i just miss the sound the cold air makes lol. Sounds way better than stock. I had to put my other msp back to stock so i could use the injen for the built one. I wouldnt mind finding another cheap one though.
Lol ya i hope not. It was dandw that built it originally except i bought the cylinder head off a guy here on the forum funkybuddah who said it was rebuilt by unlimited performance. I never really knew or had proof who really built that head. I just kindof took his word for it and trusted him...
Big thanks to alamo1 for helpin me keep the build moving along. Update is it is back in the machine shop with the cylinder head i bought from alamo and new cams from corksport. Gonna hope this time around it turns out nice. If all goes well in a few months ill send it to toma to tune it.
So the cylinder head was assembled wrong from whoever built it in the first place. Got another engine given to me for free and turns out the cylinder head on that one is also ******. So im back on the search for a 2.0l cylinder head that is rebuildable
buy a bigger turbo. Upgrade exhaust, upgrade intake manifold and engine managment, bigger injectors better engine mounts and a front mount intercooler. That should be a good start. Also upgrade the diff,.
I'm just not relaying info properly all I know is it's getting fixed for good. Cylinder head is getting rebuilt and they will double check to make sure the bottom end is still ok. Than I will go from there.
Dandw and they claim the clearances were all too spec but I'm starting to have my doubts . I brought the oil filter to them and they cut it open. It was filled with shavings. It looked bad. If I would have thought there was a chance of being able to run it I would have. I don't think I would...
Lol ya the build is going great. I wish the turbo was my problem turbo is the least of my worries at this point. The turbo actually is setup all good now. Problem is it's all gonna have to come back off including oil system, fuel system etc to get the block back out . I'm not giving up though so...
