I decided what the hell... I put the p5 on a trailer behind the rental and towed it up the rental truck. Like a rocket at low altitude. With the current ride height I figure I'll get some chains and use it to plow snow. Riiiight. Naw really I've still got the subie. Just need to find somewhere...

Does anyone know if a P5 will pass inspection in Maine with a header and SRI? Car passess if they just plug the computer into an analyzer.

Yea who is it? That sucks man. Not just the head gasket but who knows if there is other damage with it. Make sure that head/block are looked at closely (machine shop) when you swap the gasket.
