Here's how I always come out--are you getting an extra $10,000 (or whatever the price difference is) worth of value by buying the RX-L or MDX? I usually struggle to find that it's worth it.
BTW, the 3rd row is not real leather.
I absolutely get it. You want to keep whacking up the customer base so you can take varying positions as to what various customer segments will like, or not like.
And where is it written that everyone with 2.5 kids needs the max cargo room all the time? There are plenty of posters here that...
Yes--I read the whole post. And in that same post, you said that a mark against the CX-9 was it's interior size, and you also said suggested that a major reason the RAV4 outsells the Highlander is most people don't need a larger vehicle.
Which just shows the fallacy of listing what any...
So--the CX-9 is not the best because it's not big enough; but most people want something that's not as big?? (uhm)
Don't you think the RAV-4 is better selling than the Highlander because of cost, not size?
I hope you let service manager #1 that you have a new dealer going forward.
I've had cars with leather steering wheels since 2000, and I've kept them for 7-8 years each, and never had that happen. Normal wear, my butt.
This is something that should be covered by warranty. On my '12, the black coloring started wearing off of the steering wheel volume and radio station up/down buttons. I thought for sure the dealer would claim normal wear--but they replaced it under warranty with about 1 month left to go on my...
I think 1 - 1.5 years is pretty normal. You may have just had a bum battery to begin with.
But--was your '05 Jeep a proximity key? Those fobs deplete much faster. A normal fob with a physical key only transmits a signal when you push a button on the fob. The proximity key is constantly...
Well--you are arguing the opposite side of the coin. With advancements in performance and reliability of turbos, plus the incremental increase in MPGs with smaller engines in the face of CAFE standards, turbos just make sense.
Pano roofs add weight, which car makers are desperately trying to...
I don't think I'd care enough about it to spring for one over a normal S/R. I'd only opt for it if the other choice was no S/R.
Plus--there's this:

And the current generation of the Mazda 6 debuted in '12, and is still going. So you can look out there for clues or hints if you want. The life cycle of a compact economy car is not the same as a mid-sized flagship SUV.
