I think basic answer is a no. There are a few suspension upgrades and perhaps you can get 2-3 more HP for a few thousand.
I believe there was one attempt by a pro shop to do a real upgrade to the 5 and their basic answer was don't do it.
They did it at cost of what the car was worse or more just...
What is the issue? Battery drain but ok with the fuse off for the dome light?
Just run the diagnostic test in the YouTube video linked at the front, there are way too many things that can cause battery drain.
Also AutoZone will load test your battery and alternator for free, so do those test...
Just watch the video on that install.
They are all the same to install. Drop the exhaust and attach to space behind it, enlarge the hole in a rail on the other side and screw it in.

Very detailed dealer lever repair instructions...
I don't know what the difference is. They are all of the same rating and same installation points.
personally I'd just buy the cheapest one available on sale.
I've bought for different cars between myself and friends all 3 brands and honestly could not tell a difference in the build quality.

Looks like this rack is a 1 1/4 in already and just has an adapter to 2 inch.
So it will be fine going directly into 1 1/4 and you will just not use an adapter.
I found this for the older 3.
I'm not sure there is much difference. I think the process should be pretty similar.

Book time is about 5 hours for this repair, so at home you are looking at about 10-15 hours going...
Most bike racks are 2 inch as most of the hitches are two.
Also many (mine from Costco did) come with 1 to 2 inch adapters (1 and 1/4 to be exact)
I've had mine for years with out issues. It makes a little more rattling noise at the back due to clearances and one extra adapter but you can...
The back of the car is not that strong to support required weight safely.
So no one designed a 2 inch. you can get an adapter if you need to fit a bike hitch but you will still be weight limited.
Sorry, though it was 2010 for some reason.
2012 is different.
Here is my install how to: https://www.mazdas247.com/forum/showthread.php?123830445-How-to-install-hitch-in-2012-Mazda-5

Hitch max loading is 200 pounds. so depends on what 4 bikes plus the hitch itself gonna be.
Remember that they will be sticking out at the back, so I'd not load more then 125 pounds of weight when you find the individual weight of the items and...
They are all about the same in Japanese cars.
Expect about an 8 hours labour charge with the flywheel job.
So shade tree mechanic rate about $65*8 = $520 + parts.
Flywheel on amazon about $220 USD, you should have changed the clutch before damaging the wheel as it is more expensive then the clutch...
Rebuilt? Welcome to the club.
If this is a fresh rebuilt, I'd go to who fixed it. My last rebuilt I had them replace whole power steering rack as it was messed up from the wreck and they cheaper out on the repair. Kinda depends who you bought it from. The place I got it from gave me one year...
2015 should still be under warranty, no?
Perhaps need a better scanner to dig into other codes. If you are in Vancouver are, PM me, I have a slightly better then the generic ODB2 scanner that can pull other codes that are manufacturer specific.
