In my state, it's two years or 24,000 miles.
It goes back to the dealer next week and will be taking a look to see if there is something in the drivetrain causing it. I've reached out to Mazda, again, and so far no response. I've downloaded the Lemon Law paperwork from my State DMV website and...
I'm surprised by your Apple reference as they are one of the most profitable companies on the planet. If anyone is making a killing on the poor buyer, or wealthy one, it's them.
Apple Has a far greater profit margin on a MacBook than the average dealer does on a new car transaction. The...
TrueCar dealers do set sale prices, but make no mistake, TrueCar is making out far more than the dealers are. Dealers end up fighting over non profitable transactions. Their fees are astronomical and they prey on dealers hoping for larger market share and they promise the world, but at a high...
Or the weight/weight distribution caused during the test could cause the poor results.
Interesting that in tests like this, Subaru usually does very well.
Interesting tidbit is most people don't know Subaru offers several versions of their "symetrical AWD". Subaru has 4 different versions of their AWD system on the market, but are all marketed under the "symetrical AWD" banner.
I wanted to give an update, as its been nearly 2 months since I posted.
After the balance at the dealership (3rd time in 5 months) the car seemed alright. They said all tires were really out of balance. Not sure how that happened as just a few months prior it was road forced balanced. They did...
I think you will be disappointed. I read that the AWD CX-5 will get 29mpg highway. I'm scouring the net to see where I read that.
Perhaps something to do with the revised EPA testing?
I've had my CX-9 Gt AWD since July and have had serious vibrations coming through the car when traveling at highway speeds. It's done this since day one and I've had it in the shop a few times attempting to rectify it.
First time, they did a wheel balance and chacked for bent rims. Second time...
I think the 9 looks better. The wheels on the CX-5 are hideous and the interior is not nearly as cohesive or classy.
You must have missed where I said it was more sophisticated and I liked the front clip. Maybe I was expecting more, but I feel underwhelmed.
My feelings towards this car have...
Looks more sophisticated. I like the front clip. Not sure on the interior. I have this feeling they didn't go far enough with the redesign. Did they miss something? Anyone else feel that way?
I like the design of my 2016 CX-9 better. Much better execution with that car.
I am averaging 18.7mpg in mixed driving. The terrain is a bit hilly here in the North East. I also have a GT AWD model and have 1,700 miles on the car.
I was hoping to average at least 21-22mpg. Especially considering Mazda claimed the car was engineered for "real world driving" and the EPA...
I posted about this nearly a month ago! Mine does it too. Straight from the factory, there is a permanent indent. I also noticed the driver armrest now has a permanent indent from my elbow. The car has 1,400 miles on it.
For $40K, this is unacceptable....
Mine shakes like crazy from day 1 and I have over 1,000 miles on it now. I gave it time because I thought it could have been a flat spot on the tires. The dealer did a wheel balance and I think it got worse. I figured they would look at the tires while balancing them to see if there was...
Mine does it sporadically. There will be cars to the side and rear of each quarter panel, and the system does nothing.
The 20" tires also shake like crazy at highway speeds. A tire balance did nothing to help. I'm getting irritated.
Anyone having issues with the blind spot monitoring system? I have noticed cars in my blind spot, pulling up the side of my car and the blind spot never goes off. I drove down the highway and passed several cars, and had some pass me, and the system never went off. I did check to see if the...
