It is noticeably faster. I also notice that if I use Siri or any text-to-speech function, it now routinely (properly) goes back to SiriusXM (or whatever source I was listening to prior).
With my .230 and prior, using text-to-speech anything would inadvertently leave the Mazda infotainment in...
Just FYI, for anyone wanting to update to latest infotainment version.
Just updated mine, it took about 28 minutes total (I was on 74.00.230 w/ Music Database version 00.096.000). This update also updated the music database to 00.12.003 (which just means more album art is available)...
The tail end of this discussion is why I chose my dealer. Lifetime balancing (hunter road force elite), rotations and threw in 2 years road hazard. Get my tires rotated when I get my oil changed.
I would have been happy with 35k miles! I just replaced my toyos at 24k! Needless to say I wasn’t happy. My dealership did pricematch Costco and sold me the cc2’s for $220 per tire.
I did wind up going with the CC2s from Sam’s club. They had matched the Costco pricing for me and I was able to get another 5% from cash back site that I like.
All in, it came out to $900 something.
Curious to see if anyone has tried these on their CX-5 (looking at 225/55r19 on my signature)?
I have a Firestone that is offering a good deal on these right now a few miles from the house. Secretly I am happy that they have the hunter elite balancer as well!
I need to pull the trigger soon...
Make sure the posts match up to the holes. You can probably go to a local dealer and try the headrests in your car (either from parts department or a test drive vehicle).
Just FYI, if not already mentioned already. Many folks who ordered SUMA mirrors for the CX-5 had a lot of issues with them in the beginning:

Might have to give this a try…

Thanks for the recommendation @Chevyrelic1
Genuinely curious…. Do we know what these updates provide (change log)? I haven’t had a single update to my vehicle performed, outside of the infotainment ones that I’ve started to do myself.
I haven’t seen a version that the patch notes haven’t eventually been found. No, Mazda doesn’t provide them so ninja-like google skills are paramount to success.
What I provided was specific to .311.
Here's the changeling report (should be the same for NA version)
SYMPTOMS
The following symptoms can be improved by the latest software (Ver. EU 74.00.311).
Improved symptoms depend on current software versions.
• When using CarPlayTM, sound may not come out from the driver side speaker.
So...
Create an account and download Mazda Toolbox:

It will then walk you through the map update process.
That’s the blendmount I have with my Uniden r7. I didn’t have to remove any stem cover with mine.
Get yourself an invisicord/mirrortap as well. Nice and clean install.
I’m genuinely curious if that was just a side-effect/hiccup during YOUR upgrading process (ie. You can install the 74.xxx one again and it will work) or if stations were actually removed?
