Friends of ours just got a 2020 Subaru Forester, its sunroof is about 2.5x larger then the CX5's. Its not a full pano roof but really brightens up the cabin. The Mazda sunroof looks dinky in comparison. Even something like that would make a big difference over the current offering.
I'm new to AA implementation on any car, my 2019 GT obviously has it and I've been let down considering all the hype AA receives.
Now perhaps some of it is due to my LG Phone being a couple years old and not a premium Samsung offering.
So far in limited use, Google maps stays on daytime mode...
Mazda philosophy is to make things intelligent and eliminate the need for multiple drive modes as much as possible. Think about it, only real adjustment a driver can make is transmission logic (Sport mode) or traction control (on/off)
Too bad the (sport) mode doesn't effect...
Dave Coleman is a GREAT PR guy, he can convince anyone about why Mazda does x and he will have you believing every word lol.
No panoramic sunroof on CX5? He can explain it away. No lane centering available? He'll tell you why it sucks. No off-road capability for a CX5? He can explain why...
Mazdas lane keep assist is not very intrusive. Its assists if you lightly leave the lane but what I believe others are talking about is being able to essentially take your hands off the wheel and it will remain centered in the lane.
MPG may be abysmal in the turbo but the NA has been very respectable in my wife's 2018 and my 2019. Easily getting over 30 mpg in combined per tank average in both our cars.
The thing with buying used as you know, specific combo is tougher to find. That may make your buying decision worth spending a little more on in comparison to the more common color/interiors.
I can see sound being a subjective thing, just read everyones opinions on the Bose system or if it sounds better with Centerpoint on or off!
Does it really sound better aiming the sound towards the floorboards or from the doors? I bet you'll see mixed opinions.
I've been a Mazda fan for awhile now. First one was a 2013 Mazda Miata had a 2016 Mazda 6 GT that I absolutely loved but once I met my then GF - eventual wife- needed something without the parchment interior and more room for the dog.
That put me into a Jeep Renegade for a couple years.....the...
That is not a great or even good deal IMO since it lacks AWD. For comparison here in the northeast I just purchased a preowned 13k mile 2019 GT with AWD....car was listed for 25,900. I did have a trade in, but was still able to haggle a bit on pricing.
For your example if you prefer FWD in your...
You are in the ballpark for a used 2019, you should be able to negotiate some more off the price.....1k additional off would be my target if they begin adding in fee's and taxes to the price offered.
Just finished a tankful in my recently purchased preowned 2019 CX5 2.5L NA. Trip computer 33.6 mpg combined, this is a new high, previous tank was just over 30mpg for the tank.
We have been taking alot of highway mixed with rural roads with 35-45mph speed limits (right in the optimum cylinder...
Been using the orange Rain-X fluid for years without problems in my cars. No freezes, no issues, just great performance.
Wifes CX5 gets fluid refills by the Mazda dealer during oil change service.....ive now encountered a few times on very cold days the nozzles are frozen. Not sure if they are...
Could be an improperly balanced tire.....perhaps a balancing weight fell off rim. Hopefully the selling dealer is close by and can take a look at it, warranty concern.
