I would guess that most people have no need for them and would rather not pay for them. Mine came with them, would have preferred that it didn't as it just raised the price. I paid for something I will never, ever use. Sadly it was the only car in my color withing a few hundred miles.

Yes, that is the one that I got. $106 is a great price as it is a quality piece. Anyone with a bit a mechanical ability and the proper tools should have no problem installing it.

I had to get a 2" drop and turn it upside down for my Utility trailer but I had an aftermarket Curt hitch.

I would probably consider using U-Haul or any other reputable Hitch installer Vs. having the dealer do it. The cost for the Mazda accessory one is extremely high. The Draw-Tite and the Curt are both excellent choices. I had the Curt on my 2016 and just this past weekend installed it on my 2020...

Thanks. I keep up on my cars pretty well. I never had any problems with the paint and it always responded very well to its once yearly paint correction and machine polish. Hope to do the new one this weekend.

Just got my new CX-5 on Friday, yesterday was spent putting on the splash guards, rear bumper protector, cargo mat and cargo cover. I will be getting new Maxpider mats for the front before winter, making due with my 2016 Maxpider mats until then. they don't fit perfectly but are fine for now...

Sorry for the late reply, I was traveling. The add on flaps were the generic flat type you can get in any auto parts store, maybe even Walmart.

I think the Mazda front flaps are way too small. I added an aftermarket flap to the existing Mazda OEM flap. Really not sure about the comment about having the flaps hurting the mileage, I have not noticed any drop whatsoever. Honestly, even if it cost 1/10 or even a 1/4 MPG, Its not going to...

Did you ever think of renting a truck to move the trailer? The cost would be little VS. the stress, potential liability and possible damage to you car. Not to mention the heartache if things went pear shaped and someone got hurt. When I was younger I took many, many chances, now that I am older...
