an automated system above the engine is best
a hand carried one with adequate capacity next to the driver is 2nd best
a new vehicle shouldn't really need one tho (unless you race it)
Let's say I use this SUV for something people usually buy an SUV for... like driving to a remote trailhead and parking there with the parking brake on for a week or two while hiking/backpacking.

Bluetooth audio might be superior to a direct connection - WiFi often is. The reason is that a direct USB connection can transmit noise (EMF) from the source to the DAC. It may not matter in car audio, esp. a Bose system. And a high quality home DAC should use opto-isolators or some other...

IMO beware of reviews because they skew toward positive due to fake and paid reviews being posted - there are entire companies built on the fake review "industry."
Oil changes are easy as are various filters. That leaves warranty work and major service intervals, plus diagnostics & repairs.
