Appreciate it man! I've never built an engine, but looking into it, I might buy a built short block from signature like 323. I want to mess with it, but don't want to invest the time and money to boom an engine on first start up. Do you have a build thread?
Basically I boosted a 240k mile P5...
Finally good news (not for my wallet though), but 323's friend got the car running! Turns out the EGR came off and was being held on with one bolt, wonder how that happened lol. I had to use a bolt extractor to get them out the first time and ended up throwing them in cause I had to go. I guess...
Graduation/moving season is coming up. I'd really rather not throw these parts away, such a waste in my eyes. But kinda redundant to move them back up to NOVA. Grab these parts! Prices negotiable

I've never had a car apart at all. Only internals I've seen have been at work. But will be grabbing a head prolly Easter weekend if the local PNP gets a Protege.

Well, after smoke testing the car and not being able to figure out where the leak is coming from (on the driver's side of the intake manifold underneath somewhere) I just towed it to 323's friend's shop. No time for these type of things lol I should have dropped it off months ago.
The Mazda 5 rear wiper got in today. Hopefully next weekend the weather is a little nicer so I can get the wagon on the road and some smaller things back on the road. Another random post, but might be picking up a 2005 Maxima. Lady traded it into the dealership and they have her $300 for it. So...
