It would be a good idea to get prices on OEM fluid only, and getting a quote for the same service done at a local reputable shop to compare with the dealer's pricing. As far as I know, there is nothing unique about the process to drop the pan, replace the filter, and refill with new fluid.

I'd highly recommend starting with Mazda's driver seat adjustment process, found here:

It's a bit tedious to go through the motions, but I did this when I got my first CX-9 in 2018 and it worked wonders for me. I...
Wish I could answer these questions for you but I have not subscribed to Connected Services and don't plan to. I have the MyMazda app though, and while going through it I found that there is a tire pressure section. On the "Service" tab, scroll up to open the Health Report. Under the Health...
Most cost-effective way to get a replacement is probably going to be removing it from a wrecked CX-5 at an auto parts recycler or a junkyard "Pick 'n Pull". Outside of that I would consider getting the part brand new from a dealership so that you can avoid any potential headaches with shipping...
Keep in mind that some people prefer not to deal with the hassles of tire kickers, serial test drivers, hard negotiators, waiting for credit applications to go through, scam artists, and so on. In the right circumstances, it may be worth missing out on a couple grand to avoid all of that and...
Jeez that's annoying. That's the first thing I usually do as well. With my current car, they plastered a vinyl decal of their dealership name across the rear windshield. Thankfully it was easy to remove myself.
If it's possible, and if you're comfortable with it, would you might posting your purchase price before taxes and fees? It would be helpful for those outside of your state to compare MSRP and dealer discounts plus other relevant costs like dealer fees.
Alright everyone, please note that we already have a thread discussing the 2026 changes. This is not for that. This thread is for those planning to get one, to discuss things like feature differences in trim level, price differences between trims, desired colours/interiors, available...
In this case, the TSB clearly admits a design defect, with a solution that replaces the defective part with a redesigned part. You can try to make the case that this is a safety hazard. If I were you I'd be pushing for replacement of both coil springs since you wouldn't want to risk the other...
You want to buy blades that use the "top lock" adapter, not the normal J-hook style. I think the Bosch Icon is one that will work, and I think there are some Napa and/or Trico blades as well, just have to make sure they have the top lock adapter.
That said, it's a lot cheaper (usually) to just...
I agree that sound is definitely subjective. But at this point we're going off topic, so I have to put my moderator hat on and ask that we circle back to the main topic. Thanks!
Both should be more than capable. It's a simple drain and fill, with the fill and drain plugs accessible from underneath the car. The only restriction is that you'll need a shallow 23mm and 24mm socket, or flex-head wrench for the fill plugs. Drain all fluid out, replace drain plug, fill until...
