Hi, I have been parking my car on a slight incline in my driveway without the parking brake on and a few times the trans has slipped while I was parking it ,can anybody explain this ,is it a result of parking over the years putting stress on the trans. Thanks Alex

get all the rust off or it will rust again especially if you drive where there salt or moisture ,there are rust inhibitors you can apply bfore you paint it also ,go to a body shop supplier and they will advice and have the supplies,Google it you will find no small amount of info
I was thinking can the engine analyser detect if the engine is using too much fuel I smell gas when I start the car lately also it has a hard time starting it turns over more than normal lately

its the axle that goes into trans ,pcb I will be on vacation be back 24th,so everything is on hold ,ended up renting(mad)I have 3 cars and cant use any of them to travel.
I installed the new stabilizer link and clunking sound returned(mad) so I removed tires and when I move the tire up and down vertically the drive shaft has play in it ,feels loose is that normal (passenger side) and when I did it to the driver side no play ,

I just put a new stabilizer control link on my car ,the old one was broken in two for a few yrs I would say, now that I drive it I'm hearing a noise like a clunking sound ,I noticed that the rubber on the stabilizer for the other side is cracked but the bar is still intact,do you think that this...
let me clarify ,what I would like to do is put a tire on the car that doesnt cost so much is there any other options for this car ,dont really want to spend 500 -600 on tires if I can help it ,thanks
I used a drill{(to drill the screw heads ,if they are to rusted ),{TIP don't drill to deep leave as much shaft as you can to be able to unscrew them with a vise grip} when I did mine ,I had to stuff a rag in the big hole but I didn't feel to comfortable while doing it.
The rubber boot apparently has 2 sections and on the champions they are held together with a silicon type substance and when I pulled up on it to get at plugs it just ripped the silicon and separated. but you can just push the top half and it will seat itself back on the lower section BUT you...
the bad news is that the Champion wires are garbage ,I tried to pull them off of the plugs and it separated, one half stays down in hole, anyone have a similar problem.
GOOD NEWS , wires were the culprit,my guess is when coils broke down may have fried the wire. I pulled plugs and num 3 looked brand new like it wasn't being used or firing and took wire from num 1 cyl and put it on num 3 and it was getting a whitish film on the metal adjuster on plug.Thanks to...
