I could have written that almost exactly with a few exceptions. Gas mileage sucks, and it's my daily, but it's that smile, man. Getting into that car just makes me a little happier... LOL
The CX5 has pretty much become the wife's commuter. She even calls it her car now.
And no one ever asks me...
If I had a first gen CX5 (2013-2015) I would immediately replace the radio with a nice aftermarket one. Without hesitation. You're lucky you have the option.
ACC, which not everyone has, still wears brake pads down. I assume Cleverusername does that because it's less wear on the brake system...not because he's too lazy to use the brake. LOL
Are we still talking about this? LOL
Not everyone shops the same.
And I certainly would have appreciated someone telling me the differences...no one did... between an 18 and a 19 S60. Because they are also significant, like the 16-17 CX5.
"Normally"?? I'm sure there are a lot of people that shop by "I have xx dollars, what can I get"...
When I was shopping for my Volvo i would have PREFERRED the current SPA Generation that started in 19, but I certainly would have gotten a prior gen if I had found one I really liked.
I pretty much never agree with yrwei on anything. I do agree with his first paragraph though.
Older and used, 16 or 17 are the ones to get. Shoot for a 17 GT. MANY improvements made. HUD, heated steering wheel, doors open wider, rear seat reclines, rear seat has heater vents and are heated too...
FTFY. I will continue to die on the hill that "bLaCk cArS aRe hArDeR tO kEeP cLeAn".
Source, have had cars of every color except blue/gold/orange. Black the most. But red, white, silver, platinum... None were "easier to keep clean" then any other. I swear my silver car gets dirty just by me...
It amazes me that people don't know what a kickdown switch is. Try playing around with that on the highway. ;) Yea, your Mazdas all have it.

Not sure why you're asking about AA and an iPod. 2 different things.
You could continue to use the iPod over BT in a Mazda.
The higher trim Mazda's have wireless AA.
Well done SB. Thanks for sharing the process even if it doesn't apply to me and my old Mazda.
Someone should share this on Reddit.
Actually @sm1ke this probably applies to all the modern Mazda. Should move or copy this to the lounge for more exposure?
