I agree. Even the stock 19s would look amazing in a gun metal. Hmmmm, wonder how much that would cost?

Those Taking Delivery of 2014 CX-5 w/ 2.5L Power Plant

Who wouldn't? But accidents happen. They always have and always will. I also like the BSM system but that doesn't mean I don't shoulder check. These systems are meant to enhance safety. Not replace good driving habits. But speaking of shoulder checking, that is the perfect instance where scbs...

Those Taking Delivery of 2014 CX-5 w/ 2.5L Power Plant

Hopefully, as with most of mazdas safety features, it isn't too intrusive. It would be reasonable to apply the brakes for someone automatically when within 4-6 feet of another car when going over x speed.

I don't even know what to say about this.....

Point is, no one in their right mind would find this car so unbelievably 'fast' that it must have a turbo. In fact, no one in their right mind would call this car fast, or quick. It can seem to have a smidge of pep at the right time and circumstance, but not much, and never a turbo. Nimble, yes.

For those in sub -20C climates.

What is your cx-5 starting like, not plugged in, in temperatures colder than -20C? I started mine this morning on the first -30 day(-20 in the garage) and it started pretty slowly and rough. Kind of concerned it won't be that stellar of a winter starter. All the cars I've ever had prior started...

Dealer installed hitch - hack-job on the bumper notch

Damn. Wow, yeah I'd be pretty pissed about that. Hope you get it resolved. They messed that up big time.

I don't even know what to say about this.....

....other than hhaahahahahhahaaa, and they must be joking. "The first impression of this car was good. Front visibility! Nimble and quick, I had to check the specs to see it had no turbo." (uhm) http://www.greeleygazette.com/press/?p=21907

    Oil change gasket?

No, it was lumped in with the oil change "kit" which had a total cost I believe.

    Oil change gasket?

Oh yeah. Never thought of that. Ive never replaced the drain plug gasket on any car when doing my own changes. Seems kind of over kill to me to replace that at every change. Thanks.

    Oil change gasket?

I got my first oil change at mazda and there was a gasket on the invoice. What is this gasket? I assume the filter comes with the gasket already on the filter like all other filters in existence. The reason I ask is, I got my oil change from another shop yesterday. They got the oil and filter...

2014 Mazda CX-5 announced on Mazda Canada website

Hard to tell actually. Just looked at my purchase papers and my purchas price was $36,520 msrp. Calculating for a 2014 GT with tech package in white it's $35,245 so I'm not sure what the difference is unless it's provincial. It's no secret Canadians pay a huge premium over the US for cars. It's...
