Looks great! That guy with the white car sounds pretty cool. :)
I still feel that trim should have been there from the factory. It's almost like mazda just forgot to install them. It just blends in so well with the grill trim and breaks up the black plastic. Fog lights just looked cheap without...
I kind of figured the post was legit. If ya'll are like me, you know every inch of your vehicle and most of us are smart enough to recognize this kind of buckle. I'd imagine it isnt your standard dimpled dent and if its right where the hinges are id suspect the same thing.
But i couldnt pass up...
What do you mean "update"? I update it whenever i see on here that there is a new firmware update. Last time was a month or two ago. I was right in the middle of downtown so i would suspect good coverage there. When i pulled over and restarted the car it locked on immediately.
Yes, they were a perfect fit and are stamped stainless steel. I expected they may be plastic. They're exactly what I've been looking for since I bought the car. I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again.
I park in a parkade at work. Often i go on road trips and set my gps while i have no signal in the parkade. I left today and drove for almost 10 km before pulling over, still searching for gps signal and still showed i was in the parkade. Turned the car of and back on and it locked on...
Best pic i can do for now in the garage with an ipad.

Another person on here has them as well. I found them on ebay. Its the only place ive found them and searched for them for a year till i saw the other guy post his car with them. There are other very gaudy ones that have 3 times the chrome and goes around the actual light too. I hate those...
Its the one thing i really think should have been carried over from the concept cx5. I hate when people bling out with lots of chrome, or stainless in this case, but its subtle and blends well with the grill chrome. The all black plastic trim just looked cheap to me. They round out the front end...
Some great ideas, thanks. I used meguiars synthetic sealant 21 on the car last weekend and surprisingly it didn't leave any residue behind on the plastic on places I accidentally touched. Wiped off the plastic just like the paint. Can't remember what I waxed/polished with last year, but it left...
Personally, I don't like any decals on cars. To me it looks cheezy. That's not an insult though. Like others said, if you like it that's all that matters.
