As far as usable fog lights they are kind of useless, like most all cuvs fog lights these days. They light up the 5 feet directly in front of the car though. If that's what you are after they are great.
They do look way better than the blank plastic that the sport has though so if your goal is...
Yeah I've heard about that. That wasn't the problem with it for me though. When I put it to the floor, it went. Not fast mind you, but fast enough. The frustrating problem was in 90% of my driving I am going 60 Kms an hour. The cx5 is in 6th gear at 1200 rpm. If I want to speed up a bit and pass...
You may find the 2014 with the new 2.5l engine better. It has a fair amount more horsepower and torque than the 2.0. I've heard that it is still very reluctant to downshift though which was my main issue with driving the 2013. I haven't driven a 2014 but you probably should before counting it out.
I really like the interior in all black. Anything else looks too disjointed. All the climate controls are nice and high so I can still see the road when changing something. I admit it had to grow on me. It's just so different. But I felt that way about the new escape exterior. I hated it when it...
Thanks to everyone for all the help with my cx5 over the time I've been here. It really is a great car, but I could not get used to the anemic throttle response in my 13. It just seemed so unpredictable to me and bordered on unsafe in certain circumstances. It's had its issues here and there and...
Yeah, thought you were a mod, but didn't trust my memory that much. I was on there the whole ownership of my 2005 escape no boundaries. Great vehicle. Never had a problem. Sorry bout your mariner. Congrats on the cx5!
Does anyone know off hand how to do a factory reset of the nav system and also if anything has to be done to unlink my tomtom account from the nav system?
I love my car, but the experience is making me seriously consider a 2.0 escape. At least then I can take it to the ford dealer near me who were quite good when I had my old 05 escape.
Mine is still stalling at times upon cold starts. Anywhere from -10C to -20C. It's hard to actually get it goin in these situations. I have to give about half throttle after it starts and it still sputters and threatens to stall. I suspect the fuel pump, but I still can't get Mazda to take me...
From what I've been reading, yes. The little cubby hole you have to the left of the steering(or right if your car is right hand drive)wheel would be removed and the nav module put in its place. Some people have even gotten aftermarket ones and have sold the original so maybe you can find one used.
We all do stupid things at times. Usually not THAT stupid, but stupid. ;p j/k
Regardless, welcome to the forums. Eventually we got to the bottom of it.
Read section 3 of your manual. Or, I guess you could just keep rocking it.

Very nice!! Those rims are awesome. THey look much bigger than 17.
Almost looks like you are in my neighborhood but I don't think I've seen your car around. I'm in Transcona.
Can you please tell me where you had your tint and command start installed and for how much? I sent a few...
