That just sounds plain silly. Are you trying to tel me that there is a difference between the spark plug wires on the na than on our turbo. It's the same motor. I hope your wrong for my sake.
I just ordered the coil-on-plug conversion kit and I was wandering how big of a pain in the but they might be to put on? And I hope I didn't screw up. Because I didn't think about the bracket for the coil. Does anyone know if the Hiboost Piping will interfere with it?
s*** why don't you just do like some Honda owners and throw on a 10,000 + tachometer. And don't forget to set it on the front dash to obstruct your veiw.
You're right it took me 2 weeks to get my 2.5" MIDPIPE. But at the time I think they were only making them when ordered. But it's the best bang for your buck.
Do you have hard pipes or are you still running stock plastic pipes. The stock plastic pipes do swell and contract which could contribute to it, But I still think that your stock bpv isn't letting the pressure escape quick enough to keep the turbine from backspinning. Regardless of whether you...
It's not the air echoing inside your pipes. The bpv's and recirculating bov's don't let the pressure out fast enough, which cause the turbine to back spin while it's still spinng in the right direction. Hence the turkey
There have been several people use greddy type s with the hiboost fmic. TX speed demon has a how to on it somewhere. But they let it vent into the atmosphere and it kills the turkey. You just have to tighten the set nut until it drops back to idle without stalling. I'll be finding out next...
I don't believe resetting the ecu will have any affect on the Turkey. You might as well figure that if it is a recirculating bov you'll have it. But I may be wrong.
I just talked to him today. If he was traveling he most have had a laptop w/ him. Cuz I could here him typing in my info. He also told me the Greddy type s had stalling issues aswell if it wasn't recirced. I'm going to try TX speed demons theory. I belive it'll work that way. Why do with...
Yeh, I've had it off since I put the boost controller in. I just didn't thing to take it out of my sig. Sorry about the china town. I miss read. No harm intended. I need to get an A/F ratio gauge. Do you have yours hooked to the ecu or do you have a uego?
O3mspro I'll have to find Juan's # and send you a PM a little later this afternoon. I got's to go cook dinner for my minnie me right now. Jonboy688 I would have never imagined 226 whp's with almost the same mods I have. What boost level did you dyno w/?
I'm so siked up I can't stand it. I placed my order for Hiboos's FMIC kit with Juan today. I'll be getting the Greddy Type S with it as well instead of the HKS. Juan said it be late next week before it shipped out due to one of their machines being broke down. So I'll just have to sweat it...
I did sand it down with like 400 grit sandpaper and than lightly with a scotch pad. And I mad many light coats, but no I didn't use primer. You maybe right RenzoMSP, but I don't belive the can said anything about it bonding to plastic. It wasn't really bad just around the front ridges. It's...
I painted my plastic engine cover last week with 900 degree paint. Heck I thought that 900 degree paint would be plenti enough. Too my surprise it wasn't. I let it dry and sit in my basement for two nights and put it on. In one day and only 25 miles it cracked and peeled. Pisses me off that...
