Just did this the other day and all is back to normal. Just a little tip incase no one has figured it out yet. When you take out the key from the fob you will see two small arrow indents pointing to the sides of the fob. With a screw driver or anything flat and sturdy gently push to the...
Almost same exact here but 29,000 miles :D no TSB's done. Car is as reliable as the first day I bought it back in June 2012. OP what the heck are you doing to eff up a car like that? if of course those things really happened.
We just started having this same issue with the fob, guess I will need to replace the battery as well. Lasted strong for 2.5 years nearing 30,000 miles. Came here to see if anyone else was having the same issue and found this thread.
I believe the battery is a CR2025
I actually have a $20 organizer I bought from Amazon made out of vinyl with two compartments that pretty much holds everything in place and I have the OEM rubber mat so it does not slide all over the place. Can't justify paying $250 for something so small, even $100 is too steep.
Infotainment system lacks but it in no way compromises the reliability of the CX-5. I've had mine since June 2012, infotainment issues are not a big deal, still listen to music through my iPhone 5, Navigation works great, don't care about voice control, reading texts etc... To me it is simple...
Just a TomTom Home update. I didn't even know this was out until I coincidentally did my update last night :) then when I plugged it into the car it asks that you verify the version change (green check mark)
Before this update I had lost all services out of nowhere. Red light cameras, speed...
Must have not made their quota for the month, that's complete BS. But are these guys simply recommending or insisting you should get it done. My dealer just recommends and as usual I say no, I don't even let them rotate my tires. Just change the damn oil, even that I'd do myself if I had a...
I don't have this issue but I do have another issue where everytime I put my card into the SD slot Windows asks me to format it which would erase all data but if I just X that window out everything works as normal. I wonder why it's doing that.
Thanks, the wrap I bought and installed myself. It's the 3M Di-Noc Black Carbon Fiber look. Gotta say the Powdercoated wheels after applying some sealant have resisted brake dust and other debris and still looking great.
Took a nice little trip to Florida a week ago 4 adults 1 child and a cargo area stuffed to the top. 2,731 miles driven, $325 spent on fuel, 30 MPG on average (Used Cruise Control for most of the trip). Comfort wise the leather seats are very comfy but too short and if you have long legs you'll...
What'd you idle away 8 of your 10 gallons you filled up? Looks like you might have messed something up when entering your numbers into fuelly. See what the next one nets you.
It's in the settings, I was just reconfiguring ours yesterday after the dealership did a "software update" that friggin erased all my settings. I don't remember exactly which one but it asks if you would like to enable information sharing and I pressed no. Go through all settings menus and try...
I really really like what you did with the taillights mazstyle. I might do this myself.
Well tomorrow is our 2 year anniversary with our CX-5 currently at 22,200 miles, yesterday gave her a nice wash w Meguiars Ultimate Wasn N Wax, followed up by applying Collinite 845 for the summer months...
3 weeks is a great turn around for stepping into a new vehicle to be honest how exactly does that "destroyed my faith and trust in what I thought was highly rated company" it should be the exact opposite. Also whenever an allegation like this is made it should be backed up with some proof in my...
