Google is your friend - car/automobile locksmiths. My wife lost both keys - found 1 (sigh of relief). Found an auto locksmith in NJ made me 1 entire keyfob replacement and 2 transponder keys for $220 (after tax). Drove in and drove out 20 minutes later holding a bunch of extra keys...
Nice, might have to upgrade to a larger box. Still using an old thule 13 cubic foot box ($60 Craigslist bargain). Now to get my hitch installed, and out of the box in the garage...
Grab one while you can - took me a year to find the rack at that price - the seller pops up every 4 - 6 months with a couple of racks at that price. The model I got has the bars that stick out, not the original flush molded bars that are narrower.
Ok, snagged one of the $175 OEM racks off eBay, the seller popped back up again.
I have an old Thule excursion box, any chance I can massage it to fit? The OEM shows 32" spacing the excursion says max 31". Was hoping it would fit then started looking at spacing and ...
Just replaced the oems with continental pure contact. The oem toyos were slip and slides with any snow/slush on the ground. The contis are pretty quiet I hear wind noise again... Grip has been great so far! Haven't been any considerable snow to measure that traction.
Second the Brica covers - I have them on the backs of the first and 2nd rows. I have 2 little kids. There is also http://stores.canvasback.com/-strse-274/Mazda-cln--5%3Cbr%3E2012/Detail.bok if you haven't bought the rear liner yet then these are a good option. I already bought the rear when I...
can you post pictures - i need to do this soon - my wife has a history of backing into foreign objects - anything can and will help. the autodvdgps looked interesting because it seems truly plug and play. I guess my biggest concern is what happens to the radio display area on the screen?
THere is a thread where someone put in a double din with nav and backup camera. The post is prob a year old, look under diesel drivers posts he installed a flip down LCD, also did a dynamat write up.
Also got the wearhertechs, ordered a 2nd set of seat back covers for the 2 nd row seats. Needed something to protect the setbacks with the 3rd row down, and since the covers on the fronts where doing so well...
I think I am getting that canvas back liner, it's the only company that make seat back covers that don't need the headrests. Also the cargo liner comes with 2nd row covers - currently using the bricks covers from babies r us. But I like the option of having everything matching. That is a great...
Made it back from the shore alive. Everything magically fit inside, even leaving about 1.5' from the top (got to see a little out the back), that's with the 3rd row down. While there I had 6 passengers continually, the strollers barely fit in back - let alone space for anything else. Next trip...
Do a little searching around, you may be able to find a box to fit. I had one in my PT Cruiser (eBay -custom fit), then had an Audison low profile amp under the passenger seat.
Nice - will be looking forward to the after trip summary. Have a trip way down the jersey shore coming up. First big trip with the car. Trying to decide whether to use the roof rack or not. Once I am down there, six passengers daily until the trip home so hmmm...
Well, I got the soft liner and bumper pad. Next is to try and get matching (or close to) seat back covers. Eventually upgrade from Costco mats to the weathertechs. Now I am trolling eBay for a "discount" roof rack.
