As I said, that sounds like the electric liftgate opener may be malfunctioning. I would have the dealer check it (and I wouldn't leave valuables in the car till you're satisfied it's working correctly). Best of luck.

I know this is a shot in the dark, but according to the instructions for the OEM accessory rear parking sensor (not port installed), the switch is in the cargo hold on the driver's side.

Do not have to disconnect the battery. Follow the instructions on p. 6-48 of the OM, which cautions to disconnect the wires from the bulb housing BEFORE removing/replacing the bulb.

Did this update the other night, but was having delays because my hard drive was too full for the download (temp files). Anyway, got me thinking, what would have happened if I'd had an emergency and had to go somewhere while the update was still going on, meaning I would have driven the car...

Stores, airports, restaurants, etc. are found under POI (points of interest); you will have much more functionality searching while the vehicle is stopped (some functions are blocked when moving).

I did a straight swap of fog light bulbs and the instructions are in the Owner Maintenance section of the OM (6-40), which might give you a place to start.

Would this work? Replace the 15A fuse for the taillights (#48 according to my manual) with one of these: then cut the positive wire of the fog relay and connecting/splicing the relay to the taillight fuse with a crimped connector () and sealing/terminating the cut end of the positive relay wire.

So by "jump" I assume you mean run a piece of wire between those points? Do you recommend a specific type of wire? Should the jump points be soldered?

What are the drawbacks to doing this? How easy is it? Are there any detailed instructions? Thanks.
