Had my tranny rebuild about almost 2yrs ago so it should be good. Also got a brand new LSD at the same time, im on the list too. lol. I would love to go forge but dont have the $ to do that. Just want a MSP that will get me from point A to point B and back.

The guy i talked to at the shop said that he's had customers buy and swap the JDM FSDE with no problems into their proteges. Has anyone try swapping one into a MSP? $1300.00 is pretty high. The one here is going for $795.00 and $100.00 for the core. Ill prob try to find one from a 01-03...

Ok good to know. Dont want to go spending $ on a motor thats going to need more things to fix. Ill try looking at junkyards to see if theres any, hope i can find one with decent millage and condition. By the way whats a good price for a FSDE?

Ok I called the guy at the shop and he said that his fsde are jdm. I know there are others that have already did this swap so my question is did you all get ur motors from US or did any one get one that is said to be JDM fsde?

So u guys are saying that if they are selling a import fsde from japan then it is most likely a fsze and not the same as the fsde on 01-03 protg?

Im looking to get a used FSDE from Japan. My question is if the motor comes from japan is there specific models and years that the motor hast to come from? I check all search and know which FSDE from the US will work but not sure about the import ones.

So all I need is just the turbo components from the msp motor correct?

my msp motor is out and looking to get a regular FS-DE motor for the swap. Car overheated and now it won't start and there is fluid in cyliders. My question is what parts do I need to transfer over to the regular FS-DE motor? Trying to find a FS-DET motor is almost impossible, if any one...

I think my left (front facing the hood) radiator cooling fan is not working cuz when the other fan is on the other one is not. I think its causing my radiator reserve to boil. Does any one have one for sale or know what might be the other cause? PM with what you got and price. Im not sure...

If i were to get a new motor. would it just be a regualr protege motor? Would there need to be some adjustments for the turbo?

Stock boost 6-8lbs with ATP wastegate.
