Rotated tires, cleaned & dressed up the wheel wells while the tires were off. Quick engine bay cleanup as well and discovered the master brake fluid reservoir cap was split/cracked. (huh)
Dealership wanted $43.00 for a new cap but found an OEM cap online @Mazda of Escondido for $13.00...
(headshake NO-GO to that mod. A modest drop using the Eibach Pro kit would suffice without him having to change/upgrade his shocks. Remember that he's got limited funds and wants to maintain as close to OEM.
Choices-choices abound now. I've been pointed to a '10 Touring MZ5 w/66k miles for +/- $12.5k as well. More research shows that DSC/TSC comes standard on 2010 models. I do like this safety feature as well as the all row curtain bags. Any input from current 2010 owners is welcome.
All, thanks for the prompt replies. I figured asking the MZ5 owners on our boards is one of the best sources of info available.

I'm still rocking the OEM Kenwood deck and yes, I still have a flip-phone too!
That's 'cause our swag is limited production special! (yes) All in all, I love the 'uniqueness' of our MSPs and have not ever tried to out-drag, out-launch, every other other platform out there. Hell, the wife's mini van & my Jeep have more HP but they ain't as fun to drive..
Replaced the engine oil dipstick (old one's loop had broken off), rotated directional tires front-to-back, oil change using Mobil 1 synthetic & Wix filter #51365 (1st time for both) and rolled over 46k miles this weekend. She appears to be idling smoother and a bit quieter going with the Mobil...
