Lack of lane centering is a deal breaker for me. It is a killer feature for long road trips. I sure hope it’s on the CX-50!
As for ‘more control’, a button to turn it off satisfies that requirement without denying lane centering to those who want it.
I don’t know about your dealer, but mine measures tread depth in x/32nds. :-)
Assuming that is what you meant, I’d bite the bullet and just get a new set of 4. 4/32nds is marginal IMHO. For example, It is the legal minimum for mountain snow driving in Colorado. You can never go wrong...
To verify that it comes from Nav, pop the SD card out before starting the car and drive through a known light or speed camera. If it doesn’t sound off like previously, then you know from whence it comes.
My dealer does all the above for $99 regular price, including fluid top up. So far I’ve skipped the rotation and gotten the rest for $79 (I get free rotation at Discount Tire and the 5k miles intervals aren’t synced anyway)
Definitely do the cabin air filter yourself. I’m mechanically helpless...
How’s your battery? Is it more than 3 years old? An old/flaky battery could cause symptoms like this. If in doubt, take it to a parts place like Autozone or Pep Boys for a free test. Might need to take it somewhere for more in-depth testing. (Load test?)
Only certain “preapproved for CarPlay” apps will show up on your display. Those mentioned are probably included. Others may not be. Install away on your phone and see what shows up on your car screen.
What version of IOS are you using? I had a similar problem when updating to 14.5. Seems to have gone away 🤞🏻Now that I’m at 14.5.1. (I’m running and old version of the Mazda system - 3 years old?
One of the features I like on many Continental Tires is the scored D/W/S markings on the tread. When the S wears away, the tire is no longer good for Snow. Same for W & D when no longer good for Wet and then Dry.
