Why would you guess no AWD platform?... oh, maybe it's to make sure that they don't compete with their Volvo cousins?
And yeah, 25k for a car like this sounds about right.
How did you hit 7500 from 1st to 2nd? You mean from 2nd to first, right?
regardless, it should be okay :) HOWEVER... if you go from 4th gear or 3rd gear or any forward gear into reverse... then we got something to talk about.
bouncing off the redline won't stress your car too much... but...
I believe GM owns a portion of Subaru, as it also owns a portion of Saab.
Same with Ford and Mazda.
The Mazda 3 is built in Japan. The Mazda 6 is built in the USA.
Some dealerships don't even go as low as MSRP. But there are always others that will (if it means a sale).
I'd say you might be able to pull off #1. If I was a salesman, and you were buying all that other stuff (power and sports package)... if you haggle me enough, I'd probably be able to throw...
Well, once we start putting in some aftermarket shocks and catback stuff and some nice tires, we'll start showing the Mini guys just what kind of drivers we are!!
Or get 0wN3d in the process. Whatever. The Mazda is still an awesome car :)
There's a lot of difference between the two cars.
The MZ3 has:
-New engine
-Nice supple ride, yet handles better than a Protege (someone wanna back me up on this?)
-WAY better interior design
-A form of variable valve timing.
many other things.
