Oh me too, especially for the longest time my parking brake didnt work and I always parked in gear. Ive since fixed the brakes and always park in neutral as long as I am on a relatively flat surface
Yup. That switch on back side of clutch pedal is the one I am referring to. The one up in front I left alone. My cruise control doesnt work anymore, but there are no codes and I don’t care.
no issues so far! I havent driven the car in a few weeks but up til that point still no issues with using a fuse in place of the clutch safety switch. As long as your connector is good, putting the fuse in there should be fine.
Thats why I keep mine around! Owes me nothing, costs nothing to keep around, and right now it's great back up transportation for the winter months. Even covered in rust it still looks great
oh def get a short shifter. My tdi is all flowly and while nice to drive, getting into the p5 and feeling my twm just feels insane. No throw/travel, very tight. Debating getting a short throw in the jetta but eh, I like this car being softer
OH MAN! So this is exactly it. I have a turbo 92 miata which is my actual gokart, then the p5 which still feels so tight. Steering, brakes, shifter (the twm short throw in this thing is still fantastic). Recently I bought an 03 tdi wagon and with the new suspension I put on it, this thing is...
Even before the leak, the coolant would go... somewhere. This car is no longer a daily at all, its a backup :(. Draining coolant, replacing hose with hope the plastic right angle connectors off the heater core dont break, filling it back up, then parking it again.
11.5 years and 259k miles (184k...
drove mine for the first time in 2-3 weeks. Really need to replace my leaky heater core hose which drips on the exhaust (hence why it has just been parked)
I have a pi3 B+ and run this build of retropie and it is fantastic. So many games, way more than id ever play. Very well made, lots of attention to detail. Highly recommend.

pinball at home is a lot more fun when you dont need to keep dumping in quarters! Had the machine for nearly 3 years now and it has definitely paid for itself with how many games have been played during that time :)
Short shifter was the first thing I did to my p5 back 11 years ago! Made such a difference. Then about 6 years ago I had a shifter extension made up at work to bring the knob up higher. Now it’s perfect.
Connecticut here. Been driving the car for 11 years now, and I am terrible when it comes to washing it over the winter (or in general). I dont even have pinch welds anymore
