nah its got a deep tone to it as most turbo car's exhausts sound like. idling u can barely hear it but once ur on it people definately know its not a normal rice. since ive had the exhaust all ive gotten were compliments on the sound.
I have not experienced any of these symptoms...
I have experienced a small pop (out the exhaust; Fast and Furious flames (ricer)??) at 6K rpm during WOT following by shifting... My car runs perfectly with my DP...
Yea like I said not everyone is getting these problems as I only get em in...
well the only time those things are really gona happen is in high rpm's mainly in 5th and 6th. before i did the standback it was affecting my speeds after 80mph, i had to shift to 5th to get to 100 which i normally waited to the end of 4th. so yea it does affect things a bit. there are quick...
well i think it fixes it thru how it runs the boost. i dont spike as much and it holds it a lot better. overall my car ran 10x better just after installing the standback. i havnt tuned it yet tho because i just havnt had time. when it is colder tho my boost does stay and hold at 17-18 psi even...
i dont understand why people can never just answer peoples questions on here. he asked something simple yet all i see is get this or get that, just answer him, theres plenty of posts on why the cdfp is good etc and thats why those arguments rest on other posts.
anyways, ur prolly gonna see...
yes the cat is to make your car's emissions safe. i have the full corksport exhaust (tbe) and love it. great power but ur gonna have to do a few things like the rest of us with downpipe's installed. sure not everyone is getting the same things but it usually results in either boost cut, fuel...
yea, i know these tires werent meant for drag, but either is my car. i go just to see what my upgrades are doin every couple of months. but yea the stock tires didnt hold anything this time when i went. i do plan on auto-crossing it so im prolly just gonna go with some michellin pilots once my...
ah yea those dunlops look pretty good, might have to try em out. thing is my stocks aren't even bald yet, they still got a bit of tread but they just dont hold the road or a track, especially when its cold.
ughhh, ok stock tires are crap. went to the track tonight and with all my intalls i cant stop spinning first through third while boosting 17 lbs. best time i got was 14.06 and it was all because of tire spin. its bad when u get back in line and people tell u they saw u squeeling until u reached...
i currently have no sputters or boost/fuel cut issues. i just helped a friend install his downpipe and he was getting sputters. after stretching his coils, sputters are all gone.
well i have run the atp bcd on my car but it didnt really do what i wanted. it did stop the fuel cut but it felt like i lost a bit of power which im thinkin is because of the leak it creates. sure it isnt a big leak but the fitting they use is pretty big and prolly coulda been made smaller.
huerta is a badass. every fight he's been in he gives his all and doesn't quit. and this isnt the first fight he's come out in the last round and thrown out everything he had. if u see his others its something he tends to do if it gets that far. but they need to give him some good fights as he...
ill try it out next week cus i gotta go down to tampa this weekend to visit some people and wont have a laptop. but ill tell u, that sputter used to kill me and just havnt seen it since the cp-e.
my car was sputtering before the cp-e but stopped once i installed the ems. i might still do this though incase it was an issue cus im tellin u it was pretty bad. but if ur car is pullin any like mine i def know how u feel with getting that sputter gone. car flies now and im only runnin 15psi...
if i start up the car without giving it a second it does have a rough time. but if u give it a sec and wait till u hear a click(prolly the standback loading) starts up great and have no problems.
as for the gau1ge pod it does sorta suck, i like how the mold comes down with the gauges but they...
soldered. the installation would have only taken prolly 2-3 hours or so but my by-pass plug came unsoldered and you need it to run the tests before connecting the standback. i had it done the night before but had to wait till i had phone numbers and reasons why voltages were wrong and the car...
thanks, i did have to extend the wires for the switch and make the bracket but i like how it all came out. i would like to eventually find a casing that will fit over the standback so that it looks a little cleaner and make it more protected. for now i might just paint the bracket and screws...
