WHEW!!! You had me scared there for a minute.
I thought to myself, if he had spent the money for REAL autoexe stuff, what was the bill after fitting and painting? It probably would have been more than the car is worth!!
'Shoulda' known that going in.
I ordered two kits... a 55w, 6k for the low beams and a 35w, 5k for the fogs. The first one (no longer remember which) took a week and a half. The second took closer to three weeks.
They are slow, but its worth the wait. 3 yrs so far and no problems.
This last statement is def true! Go with a skinnier wheel if you can. And while wider tires look cool, they are not always necessary, nor do they always have the desired affect. Wider tires were necessary for good performance back in the biased ply days, but radials are different.
For example...
Yeah, CARB stds, or whatever its called.
Any California emissions car is going to be hard to repair outside the state and expensive. They have emission control systems that are specific to California.
Don't hold back, Boy!! Tell us how you REALLY feel. :D :D :D
He mighta' used paint designed for plastics or done some other prep to keep it staying on?
...Boredom. The need to Mod. Some times it looks like crap and other times it can look awesome.
FWIW, I haven't done any myself, and don't see the need, but that's why we are individuals.
That seems like a pretty good tire. I would be concerned about the wear rating though (280?)
I assume you're looking at the 225/40 to go on those wheels?
Y'know the extra weight of those wheels and tires are liable to make the car feel a bit more sluggish as well. You are on 16's now so that's a...
Loved that back-pedal ya' did there, jeans!! :D :D :D

I just installed the James Barone Racing Billet Aluminum RMM and from a vibration standpoint, it's much better than anything else I've felt so far. I used to have the AWR 77D in there and thought my steering wheel and dash were going to jump right out of the car when the A/C was on. I put up...
Ummmm.... who are asking? I realize you are a newbie and don't understand everything yet, but there is no reference to the person you are asking the question(s) of.
I like them very much. Had a little trouble w/squeal out of the box which I was worried about, but it cleared up by itself...
Welcome aboard!!
Yeah. We all do it, or have done it. Don't worry about it, just ask your questions.
But also be aware of the forum search feature. Many, MANY questions have already been answered. You could avoid some personal embarrassment that way. :D
I don't disagree. I was around for the original Challenger's and liked them a lot back then. I built a number of Challenger models and my favorite was actually the '71 with its one-off one-year grill.
But this new version is just not.... well, it's just not!!
My least favorite of the 3 modern retro muscle cars, but I still wouldn't take him on with your Proto... or my 3 for that matter! :D But I have beat V6 automatic Mustangs... last gens, not current ones.
