this happened to my dad when we were on a long family road trip when I was just around 10 years old, I didn't know or understand anything at that time, all I knew was our trunk was overloaded with luggage and we were driving for a long time and then we started hearing rumbling in the back...
thx Chris, those might be less expensive viable options for those with out-of warranty failed 2016+ tech LED DRL's headlights and the aftermarket taillights might be good for non-tech owners who want something different....
the Morimoto xb LED's type Z are for all Mazda's up to 2016 except...
don't mean to hijack this thread but just wondering,
this dimpled area is the front jack point recommended by the service manual right? I don't think I can get my floor jack all the way in there and still be able the pump the long jack bar.
Is there another jack point besides that...
anyone knows whatever happened to these Morimoto XB type Z for Mazda foglights and why they were discontinued ? just wondering how the light output is, looks like a direct fit replacement (the two swivel side posts and the adjusting screw on the bottom just like OEM housing)...
does that hex head plug from Med Mazda have a magnet ?
http://www.mazdaparts.org/mazda-oil-pan-plug-washer.html can't tell from the picture
tomcat's picture of the plug that came with the car clearly shows a magnet to catch any metal shavings
also, it has a black finish coating on it to...
There are now rear facing vents for second row but there are no rear controls that I can see in video below......
some observations..... Super quiet once the videographer closed the doors. Japan model second row headrests have the lower profile than US models improving rear visibility a lot...
this has got to be one of the easiest grille modification don't even need to take out the front bumper.....
also probably can attach some white EL light along the bottom of that aftermarket grille and light up the OEM Mazda chrome "wing" like the new CX-9 / Mazda 6...
did my this morning, and sure enough same thing happened to me the OEM crush washer was stuck to the plug really tight, thanks for the heads up Tomcat1446, if I wasn;t paying attention I would have doubled up on the crush washer..... I had to use an xacto knife blade like you to separate the...
+1 , this is correct, the OEM lighted door sill is powered by button battery and activated by magnets.....
I think they only offer it for the front....
no back door
you're going to see rust on any brake even right after a rain..... "the car braked like sh!t" was all that accumulated rust, no car is going stop like new with all that rust, pads are probably caked with rust now....
also it depends how you stored the car for a month and also the weather...
+1 thx Tomcat, it worked and fixed my missing NAV street names while I was in Radio or USB,etc mode, now it's all good I can see the next street names coming up on top of the screen without using NAV mode, glad I didn't have to re-enter all my preferences and radio stations again. Nav is...
IMHO, I wouldn't mess with it and risk bricking the infotainment system,
I think what you have is good enough for driving around,
if you break down, use your smartphone's GPS system to determine location
or try www.mycurrentlocation.net
it's giving me longitude and latitude to 7...
hi guys, what do you guys use for brake caliper pin to make sure it slides smoothly ?
I found this online.... NAPA sil-glyde ? I want to make sure it doesn't cause rubber "swelling" but still also provide good lubrication
my friend made the big mistake of using this in his caliper pins...
Agreed, whenever I have Pandora or Navigation or USB mode as the last shut down screen, it does take longer to boot up, I try to have it on FM radio also as last music source prior to shut down.
You don't need to press the accept button every time, it goes away if you do nothing. My system has been very stable, it is sensitive and gets confused though if you press any buttons while it's loading so I do make sure I don't press any buttons for like the first 15 seconds also I ignore the...
LOL, you guys can't be serious, wait till your wives find that stuff smeared all over the window and start thinking what the hell you've guys been doing in the car, LOL just kidding...
