If you find the forum that useless, perhaps you are asking the wrong questions. Hell- the link to the service manual alone is worth the price of membership.
Since most people on here (a generalization) are on here because they value their P5, like to modify it, and generally love the way it...
I'm going to have to. Just tested fitment on the rears and they don't even fit. The seller who told me he had them mounted either didn't have a stock MSP setup or is a ******* liar trying to offload oversized rims to a dumb-**** like me who didn't do good enough research first. Dammit. Lesson...
I found this pic:
Given the explanation in the picture- I am not sure I see any reason why camber bolts couldn't be used up front. Anyone know for sure?
Edit - Actually- camber bolts REDUCE rear clearance. These aren't going to work at all, as I only have about .25" of rear clearance to the...
Yeah- they are great looking rims- and lightweight too! I agree fully that it seems silly to put 215s on an 8.5" rim; what's the point, right? I get it...
I recently bought snow tires to run on the stock wheels. It's no longer winter, and I don't want to drive around on the snow tires much...
I recently picked up some 17 x 8.5" (48mm offset) 5zigen wheels from a forum member and am seriously wishing I would have done better research before picking these up... These wheels are w-i-d-e!
I've search and searched, and I can't find one mention of msp/mp3/p5 owners running 8.5" wide...
Are these wheels still available. I am concerned about fitment on a P5 lowered on Tein S-Techs... Any indication on this? the 48mm offset is good, but at 8" wide, I think their may be problems.
...please let me know. Also- shipping to 46268?
Interesting. I didn't think of a battery box. So perhaps this is a dumb question (I don't think it is) but what are you going to put in place of the battery up front. If the goal is to free space under the hood (and I don't buy that a 45lbs battery is really helping weight distribution that...
I can't speak to the size of the front authoritatively, but I do think it is 25mm. I do know, however, that the rear RacingBeat bar is 20mm. The only non-stick bushings that I know of are the AWR ones, though I think one other company does make them.
Yeah man, but you have to tinyurl it. It's pretty common now, so the "lmgtfy" is a dead giveaway. Way more funny when you aren't expecting it. Still- props on using the service.
That is vinyl wrapped?? Looks really nice! Some very skilled work there!
Edit- When you suggested vinyl wrap, I immediately thought of thick upholstery vinyl. The more I think about it- this must be some sort of shrink wrap type of vinyl? How would "normal" vinyl get into all those contours...
