    Just looked at our 2018...no plastic down the filler hole. But the back of the gas cap is made of white plastic. Is the backside of your gas cap intact?

    If you brought the car in during the warrantee period for this reason and they were never able to fix it and now you brought it back after the warrantee they should cover the cost of the repair. I think that's an "unwritten law". I would call Mazda Corp and ask them to cover it.

    No, most of the Spider is a Miata but the engine is a 1.4T imported from Italy.

    Well, my 2020 Fiat Spider with a Turbo engine requires synthetic supposedly because of the abuse the oil takes from the turbo.

    Yes, I do! From what I understand Turbo engines are hard on the spark plugs and the oil, and you need an oil that can stand up to the extra punishment. Turbos run hot and the engine oil is used to lubricate them. That extreme heat can breakdown the oil and result in sludge. So why not use the...

    Interesting. We just had new tires put on by Costco 6 months ago and never thought about asking them to replace the tire sensors since I've never had one fail.

    Suspect you are right. Have not read of people on here having to replace their sensors so hopefully it was a one and done event, for both of us!
