Hi,
Someone gifted me with CURT 56310 and I quickly installed it and call me a dumbo - didn't read the instruction manual fully. Came to realize that I need to run a wire to the battery! Its cold and windy and hate to jack up the car and route the power (black) cord fiddling with that grommet...
I have a 2016 GT with all packages (which includes adaptive cruise control)
1. Auto hold - Electronic brakes
2. No CD drive
3. Front pillar tweeters
4. Slightly smoother gears as you move shifter from P to xx, yy, zz.
5. Pedestrian detection
6. Better blind spot monitoring software
7. Already...
Its good that I did not go for 2017 or 2018 for that matter. I have hardly any chips, etc. in my 2016 also Soul Red. Only thing I did was whenever I go on long trip (above 4 hrs.) OR when I am going camping, etc. I put on the nose mask - OEM. 2nd. thing I do I hardly ever get less than 2 car...
CX Sum and others: Yes - that's almost my price. When I said / offered I'll buy a full case (which equals 2 oil changes) that's when the price dropped, significantly.
1 quick thought - at my Mazda dealership, if I order 10 (or 12 ... don't remember) 1 quart Mazda Moly at the same time (they call it a case) then 1 quart is $6.75. I found it to be quite reasonable.
I have 2016 Anchorman - no auto hold for me (which is really good). I had my car in dealership and had a 2018 for few days. Yes - 2018 not 2017. I did not like the auto hold at all.
Depends. If my car's already locked and if I come near the tailgate - I am able to open it, while remaining doors remain locked. Once I close tail gate and walk away, there's no chirp since the car's technically locked.
2nd. case: door ajar, tail gate ajar. I close the doors keep tail gate...
Yeah... I know.
Something definitely was left on - that's why battery died. But my point was the trouble I went thru. Frankly, I think with EPB system - not many are aware of this possibility ; that can get completely stuck. As for the trunk business - ah well. At least I can still wriggle...
1 big reason for leather going dry is heat. It takes $10 to buy a windshield reflector and before leaving the car baking under the hot sun spend < 1 min. unfolding that reflective layer. They are sold dime a dozen everywhere. Just get one for SUV. My parchment leather - 2016 feels supple and new...
However - I do have 1 problem.... just like the driver side door can be opened with a key, I strongly feel the trunk should have a similar option - i.e. with a key.
As for the electronic parking brake frankly I don't see any option if battery is dead. No one can design an auto release in case...
This is 200% correct. If you accidentally leave your gear in non P position and shut down the car (push button) the vehicle is NOT switched off completely. I was new to push button and early 1st month of ownership had twice the battery die on me. I pushed the button down 1st., before moving the...
