This gets confusing (stooges)
So with systems like the CompuStar or the factory MMS, ALL of them require splicing of wires, removing interior trim, etc., correct?
Each state has its own Chase offers I believe but they run every month and if anything changes, it's usually at the beginning of the month.
From scanning all the past posts, it seems as though $2k-$3k below MSRP is where the best deals happened. Getting $3k below MSRP will be difficult as only...
Looks like some people got $2k-$3k below MSRP so my price is right at the cusp of $2k below. I can try and fight for another $500 or so.
Stupid doc fee is $500 which is very high.
I talked to one of the ComputStar PRO installers and he said it takes 5-8 hours to install and it requires wire splicing and module installs. The CompuStar offers an alarm with it also (shock, motion, broken glass, etc).
Also confirmed that the car WILL turn off upon entry. It's a factory fail...
I got a quote from a dealer on a 2016 CX5 with a $34,000 MSRP. The dealer is offering it for $32,120 which INCLUDES the $500 owner loyalty rebate. This DOES NOT include tax, title or doc fees.
Should I keep pushing for a lower price?

Take it in to have the refrigerant checked. It may have leaked out or something else is amiss.
Secondly, living in Phoenix, DO NOT get a black car with a black leather interior. That will make the interior hotter and the car hotter. Black absorbs all the heat and UV. White reflects heat and...
How reliable are the Compustar systems?
There are 2 PRO dealers out here for ComputStar. Do they allow for one to enter the vehicle and drive away without having the car shut off?
Also noticed the 3D Maxpider does leave a notch for the fuel tank door.
As long as only you drive the car but if you get mats that COVER the fuel door, someone might be looking around for hours trying to find the fuel release door (argh)
I should still be able to negotiate a good offer on such a vehicle even if it is not on the dealer lot, right?
It's not like if the dealer got the car and if I backed out, they couldn't still sell it. Someone else would buy it eventually.
Mazda used forged for many reasons and one of them was that they didn't want to end up with a bad reliability rating if something did go wrong. Unreliability like the Subaru engines would destroy a small car company like Mazda.
High compression is considered in the same category as...

Take a trip to a Subaru dealership and talk to the head mechanic there. They will fill you in on how many problems they are having with the Subaru engines. It's job security for the mechanics but not fun to deal with as an owner.

Mazda dealer informed me that they are not ordering cars with the MMS because of complaints and that it take 10 minutes after accessing the APP for the car to start.
Is this true?
Can the MMS be added later on or should it be added at the factory?
Do the Aires 3D floor mats cover the entire dead pedal?
Also how high to they go on the sides? In other words, do they protect from fluid sloshing up on the sides?

Car & Driver or was it Motor Trend, forgot, but they test drove both cars you mentioned and chose the CX5. They said the Subaru had lack luster steering and the interior and navigation systems were sub-par. They also criticized the CVT transmission but I don't know if yours has the CVT.
