Only the inner portion LEDs that go on the liftgate. These lights include the LED reverse lights, which the Touring has also. Main difference is that the lift gate lights will light up at night, which the Touring version does not do. They should arrive this Friday with install happening over the...
I was able to negotiate the price at the Mazda dealership to $12.50 per quart. Remember, the price they give is list, it doesn't hurt to ask if they will drop the pricing.
I bought it through RealMazdaParts.com
The right tail lamp was $120 and the left one was $60. I figure the right one provides the power and that's why it's more while the left one feeds off the right one. Both of course are the LED w/Signature lighting.

Did the fluid change on my 2017 CX5 at 30k miles. It sat for almost 2 days before I drained it so 4 quarts came out (measured twice). I poured in 4 quarts. of the Mazda fluid. Fluid was brownish but not burned but definitely not like fresh fluid.
I didn't check the level as firing it up...

I didn't check the level as firing it up without the airbox just caused...
The CX5 diesel will be a one year only, that's what my local Mazda dealer said. They said the diesel hasn't sold very well and Mazda is pulling it from the lineup.
Rest in Peace - CX5 Diesel
Well, I bought the GT LED lift gate reverse tail lamps and should arrive next week. Around $200 for the pair, delivered. Will have to take apart the trim on the lift gate to access the tail lamps. If the Touring doesn't have the wiring for the GT LED's, then I will just simply tap into the...
Article basically repeated what most have said on this site. The CX5 diesel is 10-years too late, pricey, slow, and doesn't offer anything better. One is better off getting the CX5 turbo gas, it's faster, less expensive, more reliable and less expensive to operate.
It's a very complicated system to gain very little MPG and creates tons of reliability problems, including catastrophic engine failure. In other words, it's a stupid design and idea.
It's like Boeing's Max Jet design which killed hundreds of people and grounded thousands of planes indefinitely...
The employees are all dressed like they are going to surgery. Neat and clean uniforms.
Ever see a GM factory? They were jean shorts, cut off shirts, they are dressed like they are going to the beach.
The OEM factory LED's are really nice looking. To modify the non-GT with aftermarket LEDs would be tacky and require a lot of work.
Has to be a way to install the GT version. They power up with the headlights/taillights. Plus the reverse lights which both GT and Touring already have.
Can you swap out the tail lamp assembly on the hatch from a Touring to a GT?
The GT has the LED light while the Touring does not. Is it a plug & play swap? Both versions have the LED reverse lights but only the GT has the lit lighting at night.
I found part# KB8B-51-3F0C as the LED version.
I meant the access is so ridiculous and impossible to check, that it as well not even have one. As far as the fluid being "lifelong" that is another BS marketing and EPA play. No fluid lasts forever. That is impossible. Ask any fluid dynamics engineer. They will laugh at you when you tell them...
Most women like to drive "appliance" like vehicles. Not being stereotyped but that's the statistical facts. Vehicles that provide feedback and "sport-like" rides, are something most women don't like. They prefer the numb boat like feeling, or a Honda CRV driving experience.
